Chapter 26: Sentin <3

Hey all you Miles out there. This is Smile, and today I have for you guys a brand new chapter called Sentin. This was sent in to me by rageness13. I personally love Quentin myself and, said by rageness13, Don't judge. :3

Soul's POV

I sat quietly in the corner of the living room slowly twisting my favorite snow globe back and forth. Family members gathered all around and tried to communicate with me. I just simply ignored them and continued to shake the globe back and forth. I could feel my dad's eyes putting a hole in the side of my head. I looked over at him carefully to see him with his arms crossed. He had that disappointed look on his face.

However, I could honestly care less. "I'm sorry everyone, but Soul has to go to his lessons before he can continue with the party." My mother said. Everyone gave fake disappointed looks and bid me farewell.

I have to go to these appointments that my mom sets up with this boy who used to go to my school. He graduated about a year ago, and is only a year or two older than me. I believe his name is Quentin or something like that.

I got into the car with my mom and she drove off. She looked at me and then back at the road. "Could you at least try to communicate with him today sweetie? He has a degree in this sort of thing, so could you at least give him a chance to help you." She asked. I looked at her and nodded. This simple gesture made my mom tear with joy, and she smiled.

"Hello Soul." Quentin said. I nodded my head to acknowledge his presence. I sat down in the chair instead of on the floor. He smiled and sat down in the chair next to me. His black curly hair fell slightly in front of his eyes, and his perfect brown eyes shone through like a beacon in a foggy night. I couldn't help but notice that Quentin really was cute. I moved my dirty blonde hair into my face to prevent Quentin from seeing the blush creep its way onto my face.

"I'll leave you two to it. See you later Soul." My mother said as she walked away. I looked back at Quentin and couldn't help but notice his irresistible smile. I could feel a growing heat go from my face to my pants. I tried to make it not noticeable.

"Is there something wrong Soul?" Quentin asked. I began to act frantic.

"N-no. Nothing's wrong." I said stuttering a bit.

"Soul. You came along so fast. What clicked for you?" Quentin was truly fascinated. I didn't even have an explanation.

"Quentin. I've always wanted to talk to you. I guess today was the day I would like to show you how much you meant to me. I guess by talking to you finally was the best thing I could come up with in the heat of the moment." I said. Quentin looked at me with tears in his eyes and wrapped his strong arms around me. I slowly hugged back and cried into his shirt.

"Thank you. You've given me the best gift ever." He said.

"I love you." I whispered barely audible, but it seems that Quentin heard it. He looked at me strangely, but then just smiled and pressed his soft lips to mine. I felt the tension rising to my face, and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
