Liza's POV

I scoured the room subtly. The inside of the cafe was dark and a little dated, however the inside looked a lot better than what it did on the outside. The wooden floor felt sticky underneath my boots.
''Ok, be cool, be cool'' I said to myself as I approached the counter.

''What can I get you señorita?'' The old fat man asked, breaking me out of my trance

''What can I get you señorita?'' The old fat man asked, breaking me out of my trance. I quickly browsed the overhead menu, itching for something a little... strong.

''Glass of whiskey please - on the rocks'' I smiled, taking a seat.

''Such a heavy drink for a pretty little thing like you'' He smiled back.

Creep

As I waited for my drink my brain started to closely analyse everything around me. My senses had heightened due to the fear scorching through my veins. I could feel the sparks of dopamine convulse in my brain. I was in the Del a Rosa's hide out - in their quarters, in their turf. I had murdered their boss in deep, dark cold blood and they had no fucking idea.  Everywhere my eyes traced, my ears would suddenly start to pick up on almost every conversation that was happening at that very moment.

I noticed a booth in the back. It had a few men in there who were all covered in gang tattoos. There appeared to be another one next to it, which was hidden by a red curtain. Suddenly a man emerged out of it. We caught each others eye and I quickly adverted my gaze.

''That'll be $5'' The fat man spoke, taking me back to reality.

''Oh, right''

I fumbled in my purse looking for cash. Out of all the times I needed money - now was definitely the time.

''Put it on my tab ese'' A voice suddenly spoke next to me. I edged my eyes up and it was the man from the red curtain.

''Thanks'' I smiled at him.

He let out a nod and turned to the bartender ''My usual''
