I met J downstairs and looked around the room.
''Where is everyone?'' I asked
He turned around, and trailed his eyes on me, from head to toe.
I raised my eyebrow as he let out a sinister smirk, growling deep.
Say it.
Just say it!
''This way, Kitten.'' He said grabbing my hand.
I rolled my eyes and let out a laugh, following J outside towards the garden.
I could see the gazebo in the distance, purple lights illuminating deep into the darkened Gotham sky. There were fire breathers around us and dancers - just like the ones I saw outside J's club on the night that we first met. Smoke floated around amongst the cold November night. I clung to J tighter.
As we entered the gazebo, my face lit up.
It was gorgeous.
There were an array of tables laid out in a square. The glass tableware was neatly laid out amongst the rich and bold centre pieces. The inside was beautifully lit from head to toe. The night sky covered us with its dark, and devious cloak.
As me and J walked around the room to find our seat, everyone started to turn their heads and look. The room was full of people. I recognised a few faces.
''The Riddler'' J said pointing with his cane, smiling
