Author's POV

'Ding Dong'

The doorbell rang at the late night

Jae Seok stopped reviewing the files of Starlight Company and walked to the door

"Nuguseyo?", he asked before he opened the door

The other side didn't respond but instead replied with a small bang on the door

Jae Seok hesitantly opened the door but as soon as he did, he was surprised by the visitor

"What brings you here at this late night?", he asked, he smelt something from the girl in front of him, the intoxicated smell which stink a bit

His immune system unknowingly reacted to the smell. He quickly covered his nose with one hand instead of pulling the girl into his apartment

"J-Jae Seok-ah", Ha Yeon hiccups could be heard in calling his name

"Are you drunk? Why did you come here?", he said

Ha Yeon giggled, "I don't know.My f-feet *hiccup* brings me here without my *hiccup* permission"

Jae Seok quickly caught Ha Yeon in his arms when the girl fell down with a loud thud on her knee

"I d-decided n-not to c-come here again *hiccup* but why d-did my feet b-bring me here? I *hiccup* hate my feet", her voice cracked all of the sudden and her hysterics began because of alcohol

"Yah! Pull yourself together, come here", he helped herself up and let her sat on the couch

"I wasn't supposed to be like this. I need to be cruel. But, look what she has done *hiccup*", she muttered

"Take off your shoes", he demanded but he realized that it was going to be no use so he just grabbed her foot

She yanked her foot off from his grip, resulting the boy's face to be kicked by her leg

"Yah!", he shouted in annoyance and she giggled, "Omo, Mian....Hehehe"

"Things didn't turn out as I planned", she stomped her legs on the couch and Jae Seok was watching her, surprisedly as he had never encountered this rebel side of her

"Why, Kim Jae Seok? why can't you just love me back?", her sudden voice raise caused Jae Seok to realize, that the situation was not okay

"If you loved me back in the first place, things wouldn't be that complicated", she threw a pillow, which was placed on a couch towards him

"Gosh... Seo Ha Yeon, are you always rebellious when you're drunk?", he put the pillow back on the couch and sat beside her

"*hiccup* I'm fineee. Answer me, If Se Young didn't appear, would you love me back?", she stared at him

"Mwoh dae....", he ruffled her hair

"Answer me!", she said, half-yelled

"You're drunk, I'll call my driver to drive you home", he got up from the couch

She quickly wrapped her arms around his waist in order to stop him

He sighed and unwrapped her arms, "Do you really wanna know?", he turned around and asked her

She nodded, a glimpse of tears can be seen in her round big eyes
