Your POV
"Hey mom, dad can we talk?" You say.

You were 18 years old and still lived with your parents.

You thought it was time to move out and move in with your boyfriend Dallon.

"Sure honey what is it?" Your mom says.

"Ok well." You start guiding them to the couch.

"I'm 18 and I think it's time that I move out." You say.

Your mom and dad look at each other and you prepare for the lecture.

"Now before you start to lecture me im gonna give you the details. Ok so 1 me and Dallon have looked for houses and we found one that we like that could do us for a while and 2 I found a job there that could pay me well." You say.

"Wait what do you mean there?" Your dad asks you.

You take a breath and say "The house is in L.A."

"God damn it y/n that's too far away." Your dad says.

"Honey come on shes 18 she can face the real world and its about time anyway." Your mom tells your dad.

"Ok ok fine fine." Your dad says.

You stand up and start thanking them.

~1 year later~

"I'm so glad your parents let us move in together." Dallon said.

You two were supposed to be married in a month with a child on the way.

"Me too!" You tell him.
