Your POV
You walk into the school to hear whispers.

"Did you know she's not a virgin." Someone says to someone.

They didn't know you were raped.

"Did you know her dad left because of her." Another one said.

They didn't know that your dad died.

"Did you know that she doesn't have a nice house."

They didn't know that your mom got fired from her job.

Those simple words led to suicidal thoughts.

Your best friend Brendon was the only person to keep you alive.

"Hey y/n." Brendon says as he catches up to you.

You put on a fake smile and say hey.

"Don't let those words get to you." He tells you.

"Brendon I can't help it when you hear them all over school." You say tears forming in your eyes.

"Hey it's ok don't cry." He tells you.

"Hey y/n." Brendon says.

"Yes beebo?" You say.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks you.

It took a moment to let the words settle in.

"Yes yes I will." You tell him putting on a real smile for the first time in a while.

You kiss him and you both walk to class.
