    Y/N'S POV

After the death of T'Challa's father, he had not been the same. Something inside of him broke, and I understood that. It was hard losing someone you loved dearly.
I watched as T'Challa talked to Steve, before I patiently waited for them to finish talking. However, I knew it was going to be a minute, yet I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Clint, my best friend.

I squealed and hugged him tight, glad that he was safe and unharmed.

Clint chuckled and hugged back saying,"Someone missed me, didn't they? I am okay. See? I promise."

I nodded and Clint smiled at me, while I said,"How are the kids doing?"

Clint said,"They have been fine, but they do miss you. I just told them you needed time away for a while. You sure you are okay?"

I nodded and said,"Great. T'Challa keeps me in line."

Clint laughed lightly and gave me a quick hug, before he left to go see his family. Steve turned around and noticed I was here.

He quickly apologized saying,"I am sorry, ma'am. I just wanted to thank T'Challa for all of this and helping Bucky."

I waved it off and saluted to him saying,"It is nothing, Captain. I do not mind, really. T'Challa is one of a kind."

T'Challa smiled at me and looked down, before Steve made his way out.

I walked up to T'Challa and cupped his face saying,"Hey, love, how are you feeling?"

T'Challa leaned into my touch and placed his hands over mine. I knew what that meant and frowned, before I rubbed my thumbs against his knuckles in comfort.

T'Challa sadly said,"I miss him, Y/N. He was always here when I needed him."

I nodded and said,"I know, baby, I know, but you have me and I refuse to see you like this anymore. T'Challa, I know I am not anywhere close to the personality your father had, but I will try my best to love you as hard as I possibly can and be here for you."

T'Challa brought my hands to his face and placed a kiss on my knuckles saying,"Thank ya, Princess. I would not know what to do without ya here by my side."

T'Challa pressed his forehead against mine, and I whispered back,"I would not know what to do without you either, My King."

T'Challa smiled down at me and that was the smile I had been missing for days now. I smiled back and kissed his nose, while I held on for a few minutes. T'Challa let out a sigh of relief, and I leaned in slowly.

T'Challa chuckled and smirked saying,"I see someone is desperate to get a kiss from me."

I playfully rolled my eyes, because as much as I missed the playful and slightly annoying part of T'Challa, I really wanted a kiss. I groaned and whined, which caused T'Challa to softly place a kiss on my lips.
I smiled in the kiss and intertwined my fingers with his, before T'Challa pulled me closer by my waist and gently rubbed circles on my back. I jumped slightly at his touch, but soon relaxed and brought him even closer. Well, as close as I possibly could, because I wanted him to know that he would always have me no matter what happened.

T'Challa slowly pulled away and looked me in the eyes saying,"Princess, I have neva' loved another like I love you. I am just gonna go with My Queen from now on. You deserve to be treated like a queen."

I blushed and looked down, before T'Challa pecked my lips and kissed my forehead saying,"I love you, My Queen."

I blushed again but leaned on T'Challa's chest saying,"I love you more, My King."
