IN SCIENCE-

lmao so we're doing physics and there was this practice question about this dumbass person in a frozen (TrigGErEd) lake and how someone used a ladder to save them

sO the teacher was like "who can tell me why they used a ladder?"

Lei and Simone weren't in class and neither were the other 3 random ppl who sit at my table SO I WAS LEGIT BY MYSELF LMAO

it was fun I wasn't complaining tbh

ANYWAY so I'm like (in my head)

because the weight will be evenly spread and won't put the pressure on the ice. this is because the surface area of a person's feet is smaller than the ladder and therefore meaning that they can get out safely because the pressure will be evenly distributed across the ladder. *drops mic*
