“Avan called. He was watching… and he…” Laurent's shoulders slumped.
“What it is bro?” Larry asked looking at Laurent.
“I sorry Larry. It hard for to say.” Laurent replied.
“Just say it.” Larry said getting an uneasy feeling in his stomach. Laurent couldn't tell him.
“L… I think us need time off together, a few days us go anywhere you want.” Laurent smiled awkwardly.
“Okay.” Larry smiled thinking his brother just couldn't say he missed him. He was a little relieved.

After several hours of waiting and watching the news there was a knock on Q's door.

“They’re calling off the search.” James opened the door. “Do you think?”
“She will call, she wouldn't disappear on me,” Q whispered, “not again.”
“I'm tired of waiting.” Wallace yelled walking into Q's office.
“What do you suggest? Q snapped. “Maybe you want to drain the East River?”
“No, I just, we’re sitting here doing nothing. There has to be something we can do.” Wallace gave Q a pleading look.
“Then you figure it out!” Q yelled throwing up his hands.

Ashlie woke up to D on the phone. He sounded upset but Ashlie was too sleepy to focus on the words. She slowly rolled out of bed and walked towards the sound of his voice. He was just outside the backdoor of their country house pacing back and forth.
She stood in the doorway and waited for him to finish. Instead he hung up, walked over and kissed her then pulled her into his arms. He rubbed then kissed stomach before kissing her again.
“Are you hungry?” He asked as he lead her into their kitchen.
“No. Are you?” She asked.
“Our marriage interview not for two weeks.” D said solemnly.
“Okay.” She smiled touching his cheek. “I already have a new doctor, we have a place to stay, I have a job interview in three days. It doesn't matter if we get married in three months or three decades, we’re getting married.” She kissed him. “We don't have to get everything done in the first few days, our plans are flexible. Try to relax baby.” She walked to their living room and turned on her laptop. She hadn't heard from her best friend since before she moved and she was getting worried.
