There was no school today since it was veterans days. So I laid home.
Tyla opened up the door with Xavier next to him eating a donut.
"G'mornin Kim!!!!"
"Hi"
Xavier jumped on me and I looked at him.
"Did you have to do that?"
"Are you feelin' better?", " Xavier I feel the same, but thanks for asking "
His small hand touched my forehead.
"Well you don't have a fever. So that's good"
He gave me a big kiss.
"You'll feel better I promise"
I smiled "let's hope so!!"
"You gon' stay with me this mornin' "
He nodded with a smile.
"Xavier the donuts are in the kitchen"
That boy dipped out like a squirrel.

"Yes Tyla" I sat up and seen her put her phone in her pocket.
"Who you choosing for ya project"
"I was thinking D--"
"I call Daddy so you can't use him"
Xavier walked back chewing on his Donut.
"You chose to do your research project on daddy?"
"Yeah I was just thinking outside the box and ion really know know know him. You get me?"
I nodded , "yeah you barely know his whole story" I mumbled

The door opened and Jesus appeared, "hey, what are you doin' hea?" Tyla asked
"Mama."
"What did you do"
"She caught me talking to my friend Tiffany and she got pissed"
"Uh-oh"
"So you came here?" Xavier asked looking up at him.
"She said she didn't wanna see me and just said go to ya sister's house"
I laughed, "Jesus you needa' be careful when you talking to these girls"
"I wasn't even talking to her like that. I was just talking to her about how I wanted to start this science project"
"Oh what's the science project about?"
"We have to construct a dumbass DNA model"
"Oh I'd help you but ion feel like it" Tyla stated making me roll my eyes.
I stood up and Jesus frowned
"Where are you going?"
"Kitchen"
"Oh what do you need, I'll get it for you--"
"I don't need anything, I just wanna sit in the kitchen."

Tyla and Jesus were talking while Xavier and I walked in. I sat down and drank my bottle of water, and looked at my blank draft.
