My head was pounding and my foot was in serious ass pain. I rubbed my eyes and looked up then I looked around me. I was about to sit up but then there was a sharp pain.
There was a knock on the door and this nurse came in with a smile.
"Good morning Arielle, how are you feeling"
"I'm hungry and I'm really soar"
"Yeah I'd figure you'd say that. I brought breakfast and medication for your foot."
"Thank you" she nodded
I took the pill and gulped it down with the nasty ass orange juice.
"What is this?"
"Oatmeal"
I nodded looking at it.
"Well eat up, and press this button if you need me."
I nodded
She walked out and I set the oatmeal on the side.
"Good morning bay-bee girl you're up"
"Yeah daddy, Hi"
I gave him a side hug and my mama jumped up rubbing her eyes.
"Hi bay-bee"
"Hey mama"
She was checking my face out. "Do you feel ok?"
"I'm just really soar, but the nurse just came in giving me a pain killer, and I have a headache"
"Ya hungry?" I nodded, "yeah"
"Imma see if I can run to Dunkin' Donuts--"
"I don't want Dunkin' Donuts, Daddy"
"Okay, whatchu' want? Waffles? Pancakes? French Toast?"
"Pancakes"
"Chocolate chip, with whip cream, right" I nodded
"Ight imma run to the store,"
I nodded, "ok, daddy"
The door opened and Jamal appeared making my whole attitude change.
"Hey Kimberly"
I put the blankets over my head trying not to see this guy's face.
"I got you breakfast, and some juice"
"Chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream and juice"
I closed my eyes and covered my ears.
"Can you please leave." I stated

"Jamal you just gotta leave, ight give her some time."
He sighed, " is she gonna take it? "
"Ion think so, man"
"Can you give this to her? "
I nodded taking the card.
"You sure she's not gonna eat this tho?"
I shook my head, "I can try and see"
"Thanks"
Jamal walked out and I looked at Kimberly.
"Kim can I head out and clean myself up?" She nodded, "yeah go ahead"
"Kay, thanks bay-bee your daddy and I will be back, you sure you don't want this? It looks delicious"
"You can have it mama"
