Meet

Friday.

*Riley's pov*

My alarm played Gerard Way's beautiful voice through my speaker.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes, picking out the weird bit in the corner.
I looked at the time, 5:30am, I groan.
My gymnastics meet is today.

I dragged myself out of bed and into my bathroom. I turned on the shower, then quickly brushed my hair, undressed, then hopped in the shower.
After washing my hair, I got out the shower and put on some joggers and one of Phil's old t-shirts.

I walked into the lounge and saw Dan, Phil, Zoe and Louise sat on the sofa on their phones.

"Morning" they said at the same time, weird.

"Morning" I smiled, grabbing a handful of Phil's cereal.

"Heyy!" He whined, I just laughed and ran back into my room.

I grabbed my team leo, a Nike hoodie, gym shorts, Nike shoes and dinosaur socks.

I changed into my gym clothes and walked back into the living room.

"Ready?" Dan asked.

"Yeh" I smiled, texting Megan.

"Let's go then, Megan and Ciera are going with you, Louise and Zoe then me and Dan will go in one car" Phil smiled as the door knocked.

"Alright" I smiled, opening the door.

I hugged Megan and Ciera while jumping up and down.

"I'm so exited!" Ciera yelled as we ran out the apartment and to Zoe's car.

"So are you scared?" Louise asked.

"Hopefully I won't break my arm again" I laughed, getting in the car.

"Yeh, hopefully" Zoe laughed.

"Although you were fucking hilarious when you came through" Louise laughed.

"Yeh yeh don't remind me" I laughed, remembering talking a load of shit.

"I wish I could have seen that" Megan laughed.

To be honest I'm surprised that Dan or Phil haven't put it on YouTube yet.

"You can... Dan filmed the whole thing" Louise laughed.

"Oh god no!" I laughed. I felt my cheeks burning up.

"Right, well we're here" Zoe announced.

"Thank god" Ciera giggled.

"I'm so scared" I spoke, I felt my hands sweat, and I felt slightly sick.

"Don't be Riylers" Zoe pulled me into a side hug.

We walked into the gym to meet the rest of our team.

"Alright girls, you go out there and you show everyone what you can do alright" Abby said passionately.

"So the first event is is vault, so let's go kick some butt" Abby added, laughing at the last bit.

I took off my shorts, shoes and hoodie and started to stretch with the others.

I walked to the end of the vault run and saluted the judges.

"That was an amazing meet" Megan smiled as we got into the car.

"Yep, no one broke bones this time" Louise laughed.

"You're never going to let that go are you?" I laughed.

"No" she was now crying with laughter.

"It really wasn't that funny" I laughed.

"My toes were flexed basically the whole time on bars" Ciera complained.

"Yet you still scored a 9.895" I laughed.

"I guess, one of the highest I've ever gotten" she smiled.

"Yeh, so shut up" Megan laughed, punching her lightly.

"We're here" Zoe announced, getting out the car.

"Bye guys, FaceTime me tonight?" I asked, as the ran across the road.

"We will" Megan yelled, as they walked down the street.

"You were amazing today" Phil smiled, putting his arm around me.

"I have a video idea" I announced, thinking about who to have in it.

"What is it?" Dan asked curiously.

"The family slash friends gymnastics challenge" I smiled. The thought of Dan and Phil doing gymnastics is so funny.

"Who with?" Louise asked nervously.

"Umm... Dan, Phil, Oli and Zoe?" I questioned.

"Sure" Zoe smiled, she looked exited.

"Thank fuck you didn't say my name" Louise chuckled.

"I'm gonna go ice then go to bed" I smiled.

Dan and Phil both said goodnight.

"You might need this" Louise threw three bags of ice at me.

"Thanks Lou" I laughed, saying night to them all.

I went into my bathroom and ran a cold bath, then dumped the ice in.

After that I FaceTimed Megan and Ciera, I then opened Netflix and watched Orange Is The New Black until about 5am.
