Chapter 44 - I Know About Her

*Vida's POV*

"Ashley what's going on?", I ask.
" How will I know?", she says.
"What did you plan this time?", I ask.

" What? I don't know anything ", she says.
" Stop lying! This time what did you all plan? What is the surprise? Which shock are you going to give me?", I say.
"How will I know? I don't know anything", she says.

" So, you don't know anything? ", I ask.
" No!", she says.
"Fine! Let's wear this dress and go out", I say. 

This dress looks familiar, but it's beautiful.

Both Ashley and I get ready.
" What about makeup? ", she asks.

"You can put it if you want, I usually don't", I say.

" The best version of you that you can show the world is by being yourself", I say.

" Now, I get it why Liam fell for you ", she says.

"It's not because of this face", I say. 

Both of us go out, chuckling. 

" Wow!!", says Niall looking at Ashley.
"You look gorgeous", says Niall kissing Ashley's hand.

" What about me?", I ask.
"You're always beautiful, babe!", says Niall.

"Vida!", says someone and I turn around.
It was Harry.
"Hi, Harry! Where's Liam?", I ask.
" You look amazing, come with me, I'll take you to Liam", he says grabbing my hand.
"Thanks!", I say as we walk.

We go outside the apartment and go into the elevator. 

"Where are we going?", I ask. 

"No questions, just come", says Harry. 

We go to the parking lot and into his car. 

He starts driving. 

"Is there a surprise party?", I ask. 

"No", he says. 

"Why did we all get ready?", I ask.

"No questions", he says. 

I frown. 

After ten minutes, the car stops in front of my old house. 

"What is going on?", I ask. 

"Just get down", says Harry. 

I get down. 

I see Niall, Louis, Ashley, Ric and Ritu standing in front of me. 

"I will park the car and come", says Harry. 

He drives off. 

"Hi guys", I say. 

Niall comes towards me and shows a video on his phone.

It was a video of Liam's. Niall plays it.

"Hi Vida, you must be wondering, what the hell is going on? Don't worry, all your questions will be answered, but firstly, I would like to apologise", he says.

"I am so sorry, for whatever I said earlier", says Liam. 

I look at Niall. 

He moves away. 

Louis steps forward. 

He plays a video on his phone. It was Liam, again. 

"When you went away, this morning, I kept thinking and I asked myself, what is it that I can do? How can I make it up to you?", he says. 

"Then, I realised that all I can do is, be honest with you. No more messing around", says Liam. 

Then, Louis moves away. 

Ashley steps forward. She plays a video of Liam's. 

"I remember the first time we spent time together, you told me something that I will always remember", he says.

"You can always make it up to someone, just by being by their side and showing up when by showing up, when they need you", says Liam. 

Ashley moves away. Ric steps forward. 

He plays the video on his phone. 

"So, I thought, how can I make it up to you? How can I let you know how much you mean to me?", he asks. 

"This is how I want to make it up to you", says Liam. 

Ric steps back. Ritu steps forward. 

She did not have her phone in her hand, instead, she gave me a card. 

I open it. 

Step inside the house and take a leap of faith. 

I look at every one. 

"Go", says Niall. 

I go towards the main door of my house and open it. 

I open the door and find Liam standing over there in a tuxedo.

He smiles at me.
He grabs my hand takes me near the table on which candles were there along with two plates on the opposite sides.

He pulls the chair for me.
I smile and sit on my chair.
He goes and sits on his chair.

" So! Will, you explain to me what's going on?", I ask.
" It's a date", he says.
" I can see that, but how did you plan all this?", I ask.
"I have my ways", says Liam. 

"Charming", I say. 

"So, this is our first date", I say. 

"Yes", says Liam. 

"So, how did all of this happen?", I ask.

"I was upset with whatever happened. Then, I decided to make it up to you. So I came up with this plan with the help of Harry, Louis, Niall and your Mom", says Liam.

 "I called Harry and Louis for help because I knew that Ric, Ritu were going out and Niall and Ashley were on a date, which didn't happen", says Liam.

"Harry left our apartment before anyone else because I texted him to remove the air from Niall's car so that he can take your car, which had less petrol. Since Niall already knew about that plan, he had to play along so that Ashley did not know about it. I sent Harry to bring Richard and Ritu back and I texted Louis to go to the Chinese restaurant and meet that girl, who altered this dress. That's where we saw him", he says. 

  "And the dress that you are wearing is...Vanessa's", he says.

My eyes open wide.
" How do you know Vanessa?", I ask.
"I know about her", says Liam.
