Chapter 41

Meek POV

"Alright C'mon." I said grabbing her hand walking in the store.

We walked in and looked Around for my mom and dad.

"There they go." Nicki pointed and I looked.

"Ight c'mon." I said and grabbed her Hand walking.

"Y'all we gon go our separate ways." I said to my mom and dad.

"Ok." They said and walked off.

"Where you wanna go?" I asked her.

"Pink." She said.

"No, we go there to much." She pulled her hand away from me and started to walk away from me.

"Not today you won't." I said following her she crossed her arms and kept walking.

"Onika."

"Stop calling me that." She said and walked in another store.

She picked up some light blue ripped jeans.

"You not getting them."I said and she looked at me and put them down nicely.

She walked out the store and went to go find my mom and dad.

"Hey Nicki." Mama k said.

"Hi." Nicki said and smiled.

"What you get from the stores?" She said Nicki and I shook my head.

"Nothing yet because Meek." She said and looked at me.

"Meek you betta spoil her shoot..." My mom said and I laughed.

"Mom her ass already spoiled why you think she on you? Cause she didn't get what she wanted." When I said that Nicki drifted away again.

She walked to the candy store that had nothing but tubes of candy in it.

"You can walk right out of that cause you ain't getting any." I said and she looked back at me and stopped.

"Why?" She asked.

"Cause you being stubborn" I said and she kept walking in the store.

"Ok fine I won't be just buy them." She said and I got her the suckers and kept them in the bag while we walked.

"Can I have them please?" She said.

"No, let's go eat first." I said and she pouted.

"Let's go find my mom." I said.

We walked and found them in sports authority.

"Mom and dad where y'all wanna eat?" I asked em.

"Nothing big. Let go to the Burger King booth." They said and we nodded walking there.

We got there and sat at the booth. Me and Nicki sat on 1 side and they say on the other.

"What you want." I asked her.

"My sucker." She pouted her lips.

I got close to her ear.

"You wanna whooping don't you?" I said as she pushed my head away from her. 

"No, but what I do want is my sucker." She Said.

"Look the food here, eat then you'll get it. I said handing her her food.

"I don't want it." She said pushing the food back.

"Then no sucker." I said and she position her hands like she was about to knock her food off the table.

"You do it Ima tear you up!" I said and she laughed.

"bad ass."

"No I'm not." She said and laid back in the seat.

"Sit up and eat."

"I'm not hungry." She said so I took two of her fries and ate them.

She smacked her teeth.

"Why did you eat my foooood?" She whined.

"Meek why you do that?" My mom said and I laughed shaking my head.

"She don't want it." I said and Nicki ate a fry.

"She sure is eating though." My dad said and I chuckled.

"Nicki is so nice and innocent and meek just plays with her and be's mean to her all day Robert." She said to my dad.

"Hold the hell up! That's a damn lie. She's bad as hell, don't listen. Innocent my ass." I said and Nicki came in my lap.

"Awe look at her meek. She's such a baby it's cute." My mom said holding her hands by her mouth.

"She is cute, y'all right about that but that innocent shit can go." I laughed.

"How bad is she?" My dad said.

"Hm let's see..you try taking her to your job and she mess with stuff and when you say stop she laugh. You try telling her no you gonna experience hell. You try picking up everything after she throws it on the ground when I don't give her something. Just cause she cute don't mean shit." I said and Nicki laughed.

"Watcho laughing at?" I looked down pecking her lips.

"Cause I'm not that bad." She said and I chocked.

"You wanna fucking bet?" I said and everybody laughed as we finished.

"Me and Nicki gon get outta here I got work tomorrow." I said and held her hand as we got up leaving.

"Give me my sucker." Nicki said and I grabbed them out my pocket and gave it to her.
