So, he really had guessed the truth? Tyler didn't get the time to cheer that a powerful kick sent him rolling all the way to the other side of the room, crashing in the wall.

"YOU FUCKI-" Tyler started swearing, getting ready to fight for his life.

"Before you say anything, in case you didn't notice, you were on top of me, pinning me to the ground without any cloth" Yoria interrupted. "The simple fact you're still alive after doing that to a demigod is as much kindness as I have to give you. I have more hits for you if you keep acting up, though"

Tyler looked below... and indeed, he was completely naked, even his parts weren't covered.

"Oh... fuck, I'm actually naked" he stated. "Why the fuck did you leave me naked after bringing me back to life?"

"Because you were in such a bad state that even after being brung back, the medical machine needed its full capacity to heal you, and the clothes were in the way" Yoria replied. "Even like this, your arm still couldn't be saved, imagine if the machine wasn't at its full capacity... Urgh. Now, I wonder if it was worth the trouble, you put your sweat all over my clothes"

She wiped her shirt with her hand, a disgusted expression stuck on her face.

...

His arm? What was wrong with his arm? Tyler looked at his left arm: indeed, nothing was wrong...

He then looked at his right arm. Nothing. There was nothing at the place where his hand, wrist and half of his forearm were.

Tyler's face froze. He grabbed the stump with his other end, and let out a sharp groan of pain. But this time, though, he didn't scream. He was used to the pain of a missing arm since... in this cold, lonely space...

Tyler clenched his teeth, forcing these dark thoughts and memories to the edge of his mind. Now out of all the times, it wasn't the moment to snap...

"Then, miss Yoria, what do you want from me, exactly?" he asked, trying to switch to a more polite tone. "I can't believe you only brung me back to life for charity, wouldn't it be better to directly tell me what use you have for me, beyond watching me sleep naked?"

Yoria sighed again: did he really think she couldn't guess he was forcing himself to put an act? Well, it didn't matter much to her anyway:

"I needed a scarecrow" she replied directly. "if I made the effort to bring you back to life, it is for you to be my puppet king"

"A... puppet king?" Tyler repeated, dumbfounded. "For what use?"

"It is funny that you ask, since it's directly related to you... or should I say to your death, instead? After all, once he stole your murder from Saginus, do you know what was the first thing Cain did?"

Stealing... his murder?

'Is my death... nothing more than a priced good for these monsters?' Tyler wondered.

After a few seconds of intense internal struggle, he managed to restrain himself:

"Running away so that psychopath wouldn't take his revenge?" he tried to answer.

"Of course no, it's Cain" Yoria replied. "His first move was to go fight Saginus, and crush him in a fight so violent it destroyed the entire planet"

"The... planet?"

Tyler wondered if he heard right. Sure, demigods had already proven to be able to perform miracles. But... a planet? And more than that, a planet like Londris... ten times th size of Earth?!

Yes, it was true, with their current armement, even humans could easily destroy a planet, and it would have close to no consequence for humanity as a whole. But if the tales told in the Bible of Genova were true, Angel were born only a few years after J.C. At that time, humanity had barely started its developpement. Hundreds, thousands of years separated it from being able to migrate from Earth to another planet. It meant that all this time... a single confrontation between demigods... And nothing would have existed?
