That was it, Tyler had just done his first kill as a criminal. It would probably be an unforgettable moment for him, not only for the good reasons.

But right now, he didn't care about it, neither did he care about his splendid performance. All he cared about was the fact that his plan worked: all the guests were running in random directions, trying to reach the walls to travel through the Party Hall and escape to a safer zone... or even just escape.

Among them, a lot of them were screaming or shouting, a lot of those shout mentionned director Arsin, and a lot of those mentions were accompained by colorful insults that definitly weren't suitable for such high figures of Glactia-62's society.

Either way, this chaos was the perfect occasion for a tactical retreat: with all these people moving around everywhere and not caring for anything else, even if the cyborg did find him, they'd have a lot of trouble making their move without touching those people to.

'Hmm... nah, not enough chaos yet' Tyler thought as he launched a blinding grenade in the air, which created even more panic as it exploded.

He smirked:

'Now that's better'

At this moment, in the edge of his field of view, something caught his attention. As most of the guests were using the Fefnir tech in the wall to escape, it seemed like someone was instead using it to come here, as he could see while the wall was trembling, and a figure started coming out of it.

Statistically, taking the situation into account, Tyler estimated there was a fifty percent chance it was the cyborg, a thirty percent chance it was Erica or John, and a twenty percent chance it was someone else.

Nonetheless, he aimed his weapon in this direction and, when he confirmed the person entering, a tall woman in a rather revealing dress, wasn't Erica nor John, he immediatly fired, aiming toward her left leg.

But as the bullet was almost on her, the woman's leg, along with her entire left side, quickly turned to a brillant metal, and the projectile bounced on it like a rubber ball.

"Well, well, aren't you a bit too fast, mister 'Gentleman" she said with a tentative laugh that hid pure, cold malevolence.

Sharp features, blond eyes, her entire left side that was cybernetized: Tyler immediatly recognized the Guardian who was responsible for their failure in the terminal, and the destruction of his ship.

"Welcome in your coffin" Tyler said with a polite tone before adding in his own: "Bitch"

The Guardian laughed:

"Bitch? How unpolite, I have a name, you know?" she said. "My name is Melia... but you, my dear mister Gentleman, can call me whenever you want. Hihi, assuming you survive today, of course"

Tyler cringed from the way she was talking and her honey-poisonous tone.

"Ew, I'll sadly have to pass on i- THAT'S IT ERICA, GET HER!" he shouted, his eyes looking right behind her.

Melia took a slight look behind her and Tyler used this opportunity to run toward her at full speed, firing multiple bullets at the same time, toward her right side.

Melia rolled her eyes and created metalic tentacles with her left arm, sending the small projectiles flying away and, while her arm was occupied, he slid under the tentacles, slaloming through them until he was right in front of her.

Tyler's fist moved, and it was now only a few inches away from Melia's face. The latter moved her head slightly, easily avoiding the hit. Tyler continued with a low kick she blocked with her knee, and then another punch she countered with her elbow.
