A few months later I walked into his office without knocking and a growl is released. I shut the door and walk over without looking at Dom.
"Baby" He says
I look up and he growls.
"What happened?" He roars
"I missed my footing. I'm ok. But I really don't feel good" I tell him
My legs give out and he dives to catch me.
"Fuck" He swears
The door is thrown open and Ash rushes in.
"She will be fine. They were sparring and she stepped wrong and went down. She is pushing to hard" Ash says
I lift her in my arms and groan.
"Sorry Killian. I'll be right back" I say to him
"Of course" He says nodding
I take her to our room and put her in bed. I leave Ash to tend to her cause I couldn't stay. When I make it back to my office Killian was sitting sipping his scotch.
"Sorry about that." I say taking my chair
"I get it. Stubborn women" He says chuckling
"You have no idea. Drives me insane" I tell him sipping my scotch
He chuckles and we get back to our meeting. When we leave the office hours later we walk to the dining room to find Natalie moving around.
"Baby" I say
"Shut it. Sit down. Both of you" She snaps
I sigh and sit down and Killian takes a seat on the other side and she walks in placing dinner on the table.
"Boys" She shouts
They file in and Ash pulls out her chair and she sits and he sits by her. She fixes my plate and then hers and sits back.
"Well don't stare at it, Eat" She says
She picks up her wine glass and sips it. He face screws up and she coughs.
"What the hell is that?" She asks
"Sorry ma'am. New maid. I'll get yours" Lucy says stepping in
She takes the first glass and sits down another glass. She picks it up sipping it and hums and nods.
"Thank you Lucy" She says with a smile
Lucy returns the smile and leaves. We dig in and the conversation picks up again.
"Baby" She says
Everyone quietens down and I look at her.
"Yes little lion?" I say softly
"Can we get a puppy?" She asks
"Sure little lion. We can go look tomorrow" I tell her
Killian chuckles and she growls loudly and my eyes widen.
"Woah small one. I wasn't laughing at you. I was laughing because you were so delicate with asking. Your attitude is six foot tall but your so small." He explains
She flinches and I sigh and stand. I pick her up and place her in my lap.
"Killian, Natalie has a bad past. She is feisty and we love her for it. But when it comes to things she wants it takes her weeks to ask for what she wants. She has been itching for three weeks to ask for a puppy." I explain
"Sorry small one. I didn't know" He says frowning
"Snuggles" She mumbles
"Sure baby. Go crawl in and turn on your show and i'll be up in ten." I tell her
