Ezra walked towards Kai, his steps slow and heavy, like a man carrying a great burden. His palms were sweating profusely, like a pair of wet sponges, and his voice trembled like a scared rabbit. Kai looked up from his book, his brow furrowed in concern, as he sensed the unease emanating from his friend.

"Hey, Kai... I gotta tell ya, there's a bit of a situation brewin'," Ezra said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kai closed his book and leaned forward, his eyes fixed intently on Ezra. "What's wrong, Ezra? Spill the beans, man."

Ezra took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He knew that he had to tell Kai the truth, no matter how difficult it may be. "Okay, so you know how Asher is supposed to save the world from that big ol' demon king, right?"

Kai nodded, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Yeah, what about it?"

Ezra hesitated, rubbing his sweaty palms together. He couldn't believe what he was about to say. "Well... uh... Asher kinda went on a little adventure. You know, the usual stuff – killing monsters, collecting loot, accidentally setting fire to a village or two..."

Kai's expression darkened, his eyes flashing with anger. "What?! Why didn't you tell me sooner?!?! We gave him the power to defeat the demon king, but he's still just a scrubby little kid! He's not ready for that kind of battle yet!"

Ezra winced, feeling a pang of guilt. He knew that Kai was right. They had entrusted Asher with the power to save the world, but he was still young and inexperienced. He wasn't ready to face the demon king, not yet.

"I know, I know," Ezra said softly, his shoulders sagging in despair. "But hey, at least we have each other, right? We can totally save the world together, bro-to-bro!"

Kai groaned, covering his face with his hands. "This is ridiculous. We can't go into the human world!"

Ezra nodded solemnly, his smile fading. "You're right, Kai. Let's get to work. We've got a world to save, after all."

The two friends sat in silence for a moment, contemplating the gravity of their situation. They knew that they had to act quickly before it was too late. They couldn't just sit around twiddling their thumbs, waiting for Asher to return. They had to take matters into their own hands and start training him before the demon king returned.

As we journeyed through the night, the sky transformed into a celestial masterpiece. The stars twinkled like diamonds scattered across the velvety expanse, their gentle sparkle illuminating the landscape. The sky itself resembled a rich, warm cup of hot chocolate, inviting and comforting. The constellations told stories of ancient battles and mythical creatures, their shapes woven into the fabric of the heavens. The moon, now a silver crescent, cast its silvery light upon us, bathing the landscape in an ethereal glow. The air was crisp and clean, filled with the scent of distant mountains and the promise of adventure.

We were finally going to reach Khazad-Dûm, the legendary realm of the Dwarves, hidden deep within the Blue Mountains. The tales of its grandeur and beauty had been told and retold for generations, fuelling our imagination and inspiring us to embark on this perilous quest. And now, as the stars watched over us like benevolent guardians, we were about to witness the splendor of Khazad-Dûm with our own eyes.

"Hey Draco, are you asleep yet?" I asked, trying to sound casual despite the nervousness that had been building inside me for hours.

"No, I'm not," he replied, his voice low and rough, like always.

"Good, because I can't sleep either," I said, trying to ignore the fact that my heart was racing. I had been lying awake for hours, thinking about how much I had changed since I first met Draco. How different I was now, compared to the timid, weak kid I used to be.
