"Yes! I Did it I passed the Exam!" I screamed happily my voice muffled behind the Voices of the other kids some happy and some disappointed

"Congrats!" Felix said while patting me on the shoulder

"Thanks," I said

"You're the top scorer on the test Your first I'm second and the third is a girl Named Piper the one that was the only person except us who was good in magic and swordsmanship," He said

"So that's her name she was so mysterious yesterday maybe I could make more friends! now" I said as I smashed my fists into my palms

"So, what are you going to say in your speech?" Felix asked, grinning from ear to ear.

"Speech? What speech?" I replied, feigning ignorance.

"The top student has to do a speech in front of the whole school, duh!" Felix exclaimed, rolling his eyes.

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I'm not good at speeches. You can go and give the speech," I pleaded, trying to avoid the inevitable.

"Sorry, buddy. The name of the top student has already been announced. You're stuck with giving the speech," Felix said, smirking.

I let out a loud groan and slumped my shoulders in defeat. "This is terrible. I can't give a speech to save my life. Why me? Can't they just say I'm the second-best student and make Felix do it instead?"

Felix chuckled. "Sorry, man. You're the chosen one. You've got to stop groaning and give the speech."

I shook my head in disbelief. "This is ridiculous. I'm not a public speaker. I'm a math nerd. I can barely string together a coherent sentence, let alone give a speech in front of the entire school."

Felix shrugged. "Just wing it, man. It's not that hard. You'll do fine."

I glared at him skeptically. "Easy for you to say. You're not the one who's going to make a fool of themselves in front of hundreds of people."

Felix chuckled again. "Hey, at least you'll be memorable. People will be talking about your speech for years to come."

I sighed heavily. "I suppose you're right. I'll just have to hope for the best and pray that I don't trip and fall on my face."

Felix patted me on the back. "That's the spirit! Go out there and show 'em what you're made of...or not. Either way, it'll be entertaining."

I shot him a dirty look. "Thanks for the encouragement, I guess."

As I reluctantly made my way to the stage, I couldn't help but wonder what I had gotten myself into. This was going to be a disaster.

I took a deep breath and stepped up My heart was racing and my palms were sweating. I could feel the eyes of the entire school on me, waiting for me to say something profound and inspiring.

But as I opened my mouth to speak, my mind went blank. I couldn't remember a single word of my speech. Panic set in and my heart began to race even faster.

I tried to improvise, but my words came out jumbled and incoherent. I stuttered and stammered, struggling to make sense. The audience started to giggle and snicker, and I felt my face turn bright red with embarrassment.

Just then I started to say something that could maybe save my life

"Hello, I am Ember Celeste I am the son of the duke and I am a baron I am glad to be here today, and thank you," I said I tried to cut it short and get out immediately

As I stood on stage, basking in the admiration of the crowd, I couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion. Why were they so happy? Didn't they realize that I had just failed miserably? Or did they think that my little performance was impressive?

I glanced around, trying to understand the reason behind their joy, and that's when I saw him. Draco, standing behind the curtains, uses his fire magic to create a spectacular display. The flames danced and twirled, casting a warm glow over the audience. It was clear that they thought I was the one responsible for this magnificent sight.

I couldn't believe it. Draco had saved me once again, and I didn't even have to ask him. I felt a surge of gratitude towards my loyal friend, and I knew that I owed him big time.

"Thanks, Draco," I whispered, trying to hide my voice from the crowd. "You're a lifesaver."

He smiled and winked at me, clearly enjoying the fact that he had helped me out of a tight spot.

But my relief was short-lived. Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice screeching my name. I turned around, searching for the source of the noise, and that's when I saw Edvin rushing towards me.

"Master, your dad is calling you urgently," he said, his face pale with worry. "He wants you to come at once!"

My heart sank. What could my father possibly want from me? And why did it have to be so urgent?

Before I could even respond, Edvin used his gravity magic to pull me away. I felt a strange sensation wash over me like I was being sucked into a vortex. The next thing I knew, I was hurtling through the air, unable to control my movements.

"Ah! Stop! Stop! Why does this always happen to me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" I cried out in frustration, my voice echoing through the empty corridors of the school.

Edvin didn't seem to care about my plight, though. He just kept pulling me along, his expression stern and serious. I had no choice but to follow him, my body still feeling the effects of his magic.

Eventually, we arrived at my father's office. Edvin pushed me inside we entered my father's office, and I could feel the tension in the air. My father was seated behind his desk, his face red with anger.

" what in the world is going on?" I asked, trying to stay calm.

"The elves are attacking, Ember," my father replied, his voice firm. "Not just any elves, but dark elves. The strongest and most dangerous ones out there."

I felt a chill run down my spine. "Why are they attacking?" I asked, my mind racing with questions.

"I don't know," my father admitted. "But we need to prepare for battle. We need you on the front lines, Ember. You're the most powerful person in the kingdom right now, and we need your skills to defend against the dark elves."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Me? On the front lines? But I'm just a student, I haven't even graduated yet!"

"I know it's unexpected, but we have no choice," my father said. "The dark elves are too powerful for us to handle alone. We need your magic, Ember."

I took a deep breath, trying to process everything. "Okay, I'll do it. But what about my studies?"

"Forget about your studies for now," my father said. "This is more important. We need to protect the kingdom from the dark elves."

I nodded reluctantly, knowing that I had no choice. "Alright, I'll do it. But what about the other students? Can't they help too?"

"No, Ember," my father said. "This is too dangerous for them. We need experienced warriors and mages to fight against the dark elves. You're the only one who can do this."

I felt a heavy weight settle on my shoulders. I knew that I had to do this, no matter how scared I was. "Okay, I'll do it. When do we leave?"

"We leave immediately," my father said. "The dark elves could arrive at any moment. We need to be ready."

I took a deep breath and stood up, determination filling my heart. "Let's go," I said. "I'm ready to defend the kingdom."

My father nodded, a look of pride on his face. "That's my son," he said
