40. Explanation

A/N: Hey guys who's ready for a new chapter whelp here you go!

Ms. Stevens walked in fumbling with the groceries just as Jude pulled on his shirt, she looked at Connor inquisitively while walking into the living room. "Hey Con whatcha doing... there?" she asked while sitting on the coffee table whilst picking up Connor's shirt. Connor looked at Jude briefly then back at his mom, "Umm... well you see. It got... really hot in here. while we were watching TV. and so you see so I took off my shirt to relieve that so yeah. yeah" Connor said trying to make himself believe it. Ms. Stevens looked at both Jude and Connor and said, "Ok" then walked into the kitchen to put away the groceries. Just as Ms. Stevens left both Jude and Connor let out a long exhale. Connor looked at Jude then took his hand and gave him a peck on the cheek. Afterward he picked up his shirt and dragged Jude upstairs to his room.

While Jude and Connor were upstairs Ms. Stevens was preparing some dinner thinking over what probably really happened but shortly dismissed it, concluding that if it was big Connor would tell her in time.
