"Are you not mad at me?" Hindi ko maiwasang tanong sa kanya. My laptop was on my lap while I lean onto his hard body, kasalukuyan kaming narito sa loob ng aking on-call room. We're on my bed. I was charting, while he fed me. "...For hurting your ex-friend slash ex-girlfriend?" I added as my fingers hover on the keyboard. I couldn't help but ask him, since ever since he sent that bubba-bîtch to the E.R to get treated, and had a doctor refer her to an orthodontist, he did not say anything to me. Instead, he just came to my on-call room to tend my swollen cheek with ice, feed me, and basically take care of me as usual, like I didn't just knock bubba-bîtch' teeth out and choke her into going back to America.

Funny how I am so fierce, cold, and amazona to everyone except when I am with him. I am a soft and precious princess only to my Beaux.

"Why would I be?" He replied, his calm and deep voice filling my ear. "Call me crazy but I am really turned on with how far you're willing to go for me."

Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti.

"....It was the very first time that somebody thought that I am worthy enough to fight tooth and nail for. Literally."

I giggled, but my heart melted.

"You are worth it." I closed my laptop and turned to straddle him. He pushed the food container to the side and gripped my hips while I snaked my arms around his neck.

"I know, and you never failed to show me, which makes me love you even more." He kissed my forehead.

Sandali akong napakagat sa aking pang-ibabang labi.

"...A-Aren't you scared of my capabilities...?" Tanong ko.

He shook his head as his brown eyes stared at me.

"No, because I know you won't do it to those who don't deserve it," He replied sincerely, which made me smile. "You warned her multiple times, and regardless, I will always take your side because that's how loyal I am to you."

The butterflies in my stomach flew crazily before I leaned in to kiss my man.

I couldn't help but smile as I looked down at the phone in my hands. I was typing a dirty text to my man, while I was in here in the stockroom about to get some medical supplies that I needed for a non-urgent matter.

"Doctor Jonas."

My back was facing the door, kaya agad ko naman na pinatay ang aking cellphone, bago ako lumingon sa kakapasok lang na med student na ngayon ay nasa harapan ko na.

"Celeste," Kunot noong sagot ko habang hawak ko ang cellphone sa aking isang kamay. She was wearing light blue scrubs and her round glasses. "...How can I help you?"

"I don't need anything from you, doctor. However, she needs something from you." Tugon niya.

Kumunot lalo ang noo ko.

"What do you mean?"

"It's time to see her." She added, and then she pulled out a capped syringe from her pocket.

"Shît." Mura ko sa gulat at sa realization na si Pinuno ang tinatawag niya na 'She'

"Are you—"

"----Yes. She sent me to get you."

My eyes widened as I stepped back.

Don't fúcking tell me this is it?! Just when I got rid of that bubba-bîtch, I haven't even written my letter yet! What the fück, and Celeste has been an agent all this time? Double fûck!

And Beaux, I cannot and do not wanna leave him like this. Shît!

My mind is racing with thoughts, but the fight response in my body is activated.

"You put that in my neck and it'll be over for you, Celeste." I said.

She smirked.

"Oh, I don't need to,"

And then I felt the door open and another person was quickly standing behind me.

Hindi ko maiwasang mapamura. Celeste just distracted me, so I didn't notice the other person coming in and quickly sticking the needle in my neck. In a snap, my vision darkened.
