BF/N POV

The following week and a half flys by quicker than you expected. There were no other sasaeng attempts, the previous ones being located and charged accordingly. Karmen is still locked up, awaiting a trail as soon as your best friend and her body heals completely. Her rotator cuff surgery went really well, the doctor and surgeon were surprised with how battered and bruised her body was. They weren't expecting the worst, but the doctor let you both know that everyone had expected there to be some difficulty.

Tae and Kook were seemingly better after that first night. They got to talk to her via text, video calling when she felt okay enough to. Monie, however, immersed himself in work. It worried you, but it worried her even more. You haven't been able to tell her that he was reading her story, knowing that she wouldn't be able to focus on much until she was back with everyone and able to see him for herself.

Seeing all of the guys work was different than you expected. They all worked in different rooms, but Monie stayed in the library. You knew he wanted to be alone, so you stayed away as much as you could, checking up on him for your best friend. You stuck around Hobi a lot, his positive energy helping to calm your nerves some. S/N was around Yoongi, enjoying the quietness of the area so she could focus on her schoolwork.

The day before she came back, you couldn't take it anymore. You went to the library, taking his headphones off immediately, "What the fuck?" He says, shock and irritation in his tone as he turned around in the chair.

You have your arms crossed in front of you, and you know you're giving him the same look that you give your best friend when she does too much without a break.

"Let's go." You say, nodding your head towards the door.

"I'm not done yet." He says with a sigh, turning around and facing the computer.

You turn the chair around, making his body face yours again, "Kim Namjoon. Does it look like I give a fuck?" You ask, eyebrow raised as you let your own irritation show, "Save the files your working on. Let's go."

He sighs again, and you turn the chair around as you watch him save on the computer, shutting it down afterwards. You let him turn the chair again, and you can see the exhaustion on his face.

"You haven't slept, have you?" You ask, concern laced in your tone.

He gives you a tight smile, "Hard to." He answers.

You nod, moving out of his way so he can stand, as you make your way to the door. He follows behind you as you walk to the kitchen, asking Sejin to make him something to eat. Something nourishing.

You walk out the back door, hearing him shut it behind you, as you grab two chairs and walk to the middle of the back yard. It's enough distance for people to see you both from inside the house, but far enough away for them not to eavesdrop. You set the chairs up, side by side, and motion for him to sit.

He does, and you can't tell if it's reluctant or not, but he does close his eyes and let the sun hit his face. You're both quiet for a while, you wanted to give him time to relax some, knowing that being outside helps him.

"What's going on, Monie?" You ask softly.

He doesn't answer for a few minutes, eventually bringing his head down to focus on what's in front of him. You hear him sigh, "Honestly, I don't know." He answers, "I don't know how to explain it."

You nod, already figuring that that would be what he'd say, "What have you been working on in there? I know it's a distraction, but I also know that you're writing."

You see him nod from the corner of your eye, "Yeah. It's more of a jumbled up mess than it is anything coherent."

"Too many thoughts, not enough words to express them?" You ask.
