𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀. I was carrying the same thin wooden board. I wore casual pants with a white button-up blouse under a white doctor's coat.

Since the battle of Hogwarts, I had started a new life for myself. One where people don't know me as a Werewolf and where they don't fear me and think I'll try to kill them at the first chance I get. With my hair done up in a simple way, I looked down at the next patient I had to see.

My shoes clicked against the recently polished floor. I've made my way down this hallway so many times that it's almost an instinct to open the fifth door on the right. Grasping the bronze handle of the door, I turned and opened it with an almost silent click.

''Come on in.'' The patient called from inside the room.

With a smile, I went inside the room and closed the door behind me. The man on the bed with the white sheets covering up to his chest is Andrew Lumen. He was in his late 40's with brown hair and a smooth face. He must've recently been shaved. Someone else comes in here and shaves his face for him.

''How are you feeling today?'' I asked, standing beside his bed with a pen in my hand.

''Could be better.'' He shook his head. I gave him a sorrowful smile.

Putting the clipboard and pen down on the side table, I went and picked up his left arm. I didn't lift it up much, just turned to him and silently ask him a question by raising my brow. He shook his head as a sign of loosing hope.

''Don't worry, Mr. Lumen.'' I patted his shoulder, turning back to the clipboard. ''Don't loose hope just yet. We can do more to help.''

''Is there anything else you can do?'' He asked, looking down at his hands. I watched as his fingers barely moved, only twitching before completely stopping. Andrew is paralyzed, only really able to move his head and facial features. Anything below his chest is paralyzed.

''There is.'' I nodded. ''I know there is.''

Andrew sighed, throwing his head back against his pillow. He then turned to look at me before giving me a soft smile.

''Sit down with me, will you?'' He asked.

I looked down at my clipboard before answering. ''I really can't, Mr. Lumen. I've got other things I have to do.'' I raised my clipboard in question.

''How many times have I told you to just call me Andrew?'' He laughed. ''Please, sit down with me. You know I don't like any of these other nurses.''

He was always like that. Ever since the day he arrived. He didn't like any of the other nurses, but somehow, I was the exception. That's why he is on my schedule. A few other people come in but they don't stay for long before they leave him alone in the room.
