1 what inspired the idea of your story?

I've been into anime, comic books, and fantasy stories since I was a young kid. I always saw the lack of characters in the fantasy realm. I wanted to be able to relate to stories and characters that look like me, so I decided to write one. A story that includes different cultures and walks of life.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

Using the right words and creating action scenes.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

The characters. These characters really wrote themselves. I started with the idea but it developed into something bigger and way different than my original outline. I laugh sometimes when I read my old notes from the original outline.

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

They were surprised they liked it so much. I haven't received a bad review yet. Even a few people informed me that they didn't read fiction stories but overall enjoyed Sun to continue with the series. I'll probably cry when I do receive a bad review! lol.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

My story is part of a series of novels that I am creating, Reborn the Book Series. Sun is Book 1, Luck is Book 2. I am glad to share that I started working on Book 3 recently. It's coming along awesome!

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

Be you! Don't compare. Grab life by the horns and ride this bitch until the end. Life is truly what you make it!

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

Do not compare your story! It's your story! It will be unique for you! Also, your writing isn't for everybody. So make sure you concentrate on the people you are writing for!

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

The main characters in both books share some characteristics of me. I think all of my characters have a small sense of myself. It's like developing personalities based on your different perspectives and mindset, I guess. I hope I am describing it correctly.

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

Different styles of characters and relatable situations. Even in the fantasy world, my story seems like it could happen.

10 do you have any future projects?

Yes. This story is a six-book novel series. Book 3 will be released sometime 2025. I want to work on getting Books 1 & 2 to the audience.
