1 what inspired the idea of your story?
I wanted to work around the concept of forgiveness. How it's not about the person you are forgiving but about you freeing yourself from the hold of the past, especially trauma, on you. And moving forward after forgiveness.
2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?
The situation around Daniela's trauma. It can be really difficult to live a character's trauma.
3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?
The budding relationship between Lucas and Daniela.
4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?
So far? They seem to be really like it.
5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?
stand alone
6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?
That no matter what you've been through, forgiveness is possible.
7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?
Find the joy in writing. When you have that, the challenges don't matter.
8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?
No. Daniela is her own person.
9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?
The promise of romance and great banter. Also, hot sex?
10 Do you have any future projects?
Always. Please consider reading The Unbecoming of Beast and Beauty.
