"What about Erica and Boyd? Any word on them? What about the alpha pack?" Ava knew he had been stressing about them even if he was trying to hide it from them and she couldn't help but worry about it as well.

As much as she tried to hide it she still loved Derek and cared for him.

"I'm working on it but leave that to me..."

"Derek you can talk to me about it" she interrupted him and accidentally placed her hand on his that was resting on the counter. "It's okay..." then she realized what she did and looked down to their hands as well as he did.

Things like this had happened often. They were just so used to being close when they were around each other like this that it came naturally but Ava was trying to lose those tendencies.

When Ava was about to remove her hand Derek stopped her and took her hand instead.

"I'm trying to keep you both out of it ok? I don't want you to be stuck in the middle of it any more we can do this if we just lay low which is what I'm trying to do...Im trying to keep you both safe ava..." Derek paused for a moment seeing how she was looking at him.

It almost made him lose it to see her eyes looking directly towards him. It made him feel a pull towards her and just began to lean in.

It was just so natural and it didn't feel weird they were almost going to kiss but Ava stopped and moved away disconnecting her hand from his as well.

"I'm going to be late..." she turned over and gathered her things to leave.

"Yeah..." Derek said awkwardly watching her.

"I'll see you later" Ava said and went to head out while he just followed.

He knew he and Angie were a work in progress but with Ava he didn't know if they would ever go back to what they had and that hurt him.

When Angie arrived at school she found Lydia immediately and went to gather their stuff in their lockers while they saw all the new people walk in. Lydia was the one looking after she had explained to Angie what happened the night before with Scott and stiles after she left Angie's place.

Both girls didn't think anything of it, they just thought it was something normal that happened so Lydia went back to looking at the people and Angie just put her stuff away while she ranted about what happened at her house before getting to school.

"They're officially divorced and I'm not saying that I want them to be together. I think them being separated is the best thing but I don't think her being with Derek is the best thing either..."

"You think they're going to get back together?" Lydia lived for the drama they had going on. She loved being included and Angie couldn't help but love it too.

She felt closer to Lydia now that she didn't have to hide stuff from her anymore.

"I don't know but him showing up early in the morning today was weird I get that he's trying and I give him props for it but he's really pushing it..." Angie still didn't know what to think about it; she just thought it was a drastic change and they were moving too fast.

She just wanted a pause from everything.

"So your mom is divorced, she's no longer Mrs griffin...well she never liked being called that anyways but you...what about you? Are you taking her maiden name or going for Hale?"

Again more things she thought were too much to change it was a big change to consider herself a hale she just didn't know.

Before she replied back to Lydia she turned to see  that Allison was walking by.
