Everything was perfect. I was so happy with everything. I had an amazing husband and two beautiful babies. Being a mom is the best gift I was ever given. I just love my girls. It is a hard job, but I wouldn't give it up for anything. We were both tired, but that was everything that came with having children. We were happy even when we were miserable.

Today we got some visitors. Casey had been gone from work for about 2 weeks so far. Today Severide came to visit with us. He knocked at the door and Matt went to see who it was. I was feeding the girls. Casey walked to the door and looked out the window. Severide was just standing there. Casey opened the door " hey.." He looked at Casey " bad time.." Casey looked at him " no... Gabby's just in the bedroom feeding the girls." Matt walked up the stairs, and into the bedroom leading Severide. He was just making sure everything was okay. I finished feeding Maria and laid her on my chest. Matt walked in the room and looked at me " hey.. we have a visitor!" I looked up as Severide came in " Kelly!" He looked at me " hey Gabby! hows motherhood treating you." I smiled " great... were exhausted, but great!" Matt sat down next to me and took

Maria off my hands. Severide looked at us " everyone misses you both!" Matt looked at him " well we miss everyone." Severide looked at me as I went to pick up Shay, and I looked right back at him. He sat down in the rocking chair. I stood up with her and glanced in his direction " Do you want to hold her." He looked at me and smiled " of course!" I smiled and handed Shay to him. I smiled as he held her " she like you." He smiled " yeah.. I guess so. You know what. I'm so happy for you both and I'm so glad you decided to call her Shay." I smiled " It couldn't be more perfect. Her memory is here." We just spent so much time together. This is what family is.

Thanks for sticking with me! I know it has been a little while since I have posted a update. I'm gonna try and have updates for all my stories at least 2 times a week. I have a little break from school, but still have a lot going on. I know in this story I call Matt both casey and matt. It's just how I am. Hope you enjoyed this chapter!
