Morgan's Favorite Story

I don't own Marvel ask Morgan. The main character of this story along with her father and brother and DUM-E cause we all know DUM-E deserves all of the love and Peter of course. The lab story plot came from @Seasongtheseawing

Morgan: Mystery doesn't own us. 

"Daddy can you tell me a story?" A young Morgan Stark asked her father one day before bed.

"Which one Maguna?" The one and only Tony Stark asked.

"The one about Petey!" Morgan exclaimed. 

"It was about a couple months after I met your brother," Tony started. 

Morgan gave her father a look and in a practiced routine said, "But if he is my brother why would you meet him?" 

"He is your brother in all but blood and legality Morguna," Morgan's father replied in a practiced manner. This was Morgan's favorite story she would ask for it every single night, "As I was saying it was a couple months after I met him and we were doing a lab day. This is the first time DUM-E had been around Peter because usually he was doing his own thing unless I needed him around for me to test something. With Peter there though I had someone who wouldn't spray me with a fire extinguisher even if there wasn't a fire. 

Anyway, Peter walked into the lab and DUM-E had brought him a smoothie. I of course just happened to not be in the lab because your mother had forced me to take a shower and eat before Peter arrived. I watched the footage later." 

Peter walked  into the lab to be greeted by the chirping of a robot whom he recognized as DUM-E from an old newspaper he read about Mr. Stark when he was younger and built DUM-E. 

DUM-E chirped a greeting which is when Peter noticed the smoothie on the top of his claw. Now Peter didn't know that DUM-E's smootie's usually contain motor oil so he took a sip and almost gagged it up before downing the rest of the smoothie not wanting to hurt the robot's feelings. 

He didn't know what was in it but he crooned at the robot before telling him thank you and that he would teach DUM-E how to make a proper smoothie. Tony took at least 30 minutes to come back and when he noticed the empty glass and DUM-E he promptly freaked out. If Peter drank the smoothie then he would probably be sick for a whole week. Of course Tony didn't know that Peter's metabolism had already metabolised the smoothie and didn't leave any lasting effects. 

Peter was still crooning at his new brother that he wouldn't tell Mr. Stark he unofficially adopted since he looked up to Mr. Stark as a father figure. 

"Hey buddy how are you?" Peter crooned to the robot. 

DUM-E chirped happily in response. 

"That's good," Peter said. 

Throughout the rest of Peter's time in the lab Mr. Stark threatened DUM-E with light hearted threats that he would never follow through with, but Peter protected the robot anyway. 

"DUM-E get back here with my wrench right now or I'll scrap you and donate you to the community college," Tony yelled at the robot. 

"Mr. Stark don't hurt DUM-E I'm sure he didn't mean any harm. Right, buddy?" 

DUM-E chirped happily in agreement. 

Right before Peter left in his sleepy tired state he hugged DUM-E and called Tony dad. 

Tony never let Peter call him anything else of course. From that day one Peter was Tony's son and no one said any different. When the snap hit Tony was finalizing adopting Peter with his aunt and was going to get Peter's consent to do it, but Peter dusted in his arms. 

"There you go Morguna sleep tight now," Tony said as he finished the story. 

"It's a beautiful story, daddy," Morgan told her father before asking a question that Tony wouldn't know how to answer, "Where are you going tomorrow?" 

"To bring back your brother," Tony replied as gently as possible. 

"Will I get to meet him?" 

"Yes, when this succeeds you will meet him and we will be one big happy family." Tony had tears in his eyes after saying this because he wasn't sure he would survive or that this would even work. 

"I love you 3000," Morgan said as Tony walked out of the room. 

Tony blew her a kiss before leaving the room. 

That night as Tony was falling asleep he remembered the affection he felt for Peter the parental instinct to protect the spider-child in any way possible. He remembered all those times they had a movie night and fell asleep with Peter on Tony's chest. 

Not able to fall asleep Tony went to his lab and had FRIDAY pull up all the pictures and videos he had. 

Tony laughed and cried through the night at the heartfelt voicemails Peter left and the hilarious antics he would get up too. 

The next morning Tony was even more determined to get his son back and survive so that he could tell Peter how much he loved him. 

In this timeline Tony survived he watched as Peter became his adopted son and when his identity was revealed  to the world he showed them the pictures, videos, and voicemails he had collected of Peter over the years he showed them the Peter Parker he knew. He showed everyone the utter devastation Peter felt when he was accused of being a murderer. 

In this timeline Peter Parker was never erased from everyone's minds.
