You and Newt had been friends ever since you had entered the glade. More like best friends. You loved each other like siblings.
You had been in the blade for a few months and although it was bad for the others, for you it was worse. When you came up you had glasses which were a struggle because they were always foggy, dirty or broken.
(they only broke like 7 times)
Me and Newt were in the gardens helping Zart out with some tasks. Zart was making us pick weeds and as I yanked a big weed out of the strawberries a huge load of mud had splattered all over my glasses. I spit the mud from her mouth and attempted to wipe the mud off of my glasses.
Newt pulled out a cloth plus a little bottle of spray from his pocket and handed it to me. I shot him a slight smile and cleaned my glasses off.
Thank God for my best friend.
