• Chapter 8 •

Ranboo POV

I went over to Tubbo, "How ya doin?"

He smiled, "Great!"

I nodded as I saw the tickets he'd collected.

"I'm doing better than him, Ran!" Tommy chanted.

I looked over at Tommy who was layed out on the skee ball game dropping the balls in the 100 circle. Will was handing him the balls as he dropped them in one by one.

I scoffed, "That's cheating."

"No it's not. It's called being smart, try it sometime." Tommy laughed.

I looked to Tubbo in disbelief. He shrugged, "Uh- I guess I should've added a no cheating rule?"

"But ya didn't!" Wilbur smiled as there skee ball tickets just came flooding out.

I went over and Tommy got off the skee ball game, standing up. Wilbur walked off to another game and I grabbed the tickets.

Tommy slapped my hands, "Uh- oh no you don't."

I furrowed my brows, "You stole from me."

"Any vouchers?" He raised a brow.

My eyes lit up, "Jack Manifold!"

Tommy rolled his eyes, "Still- I don't care."

He walked off toward Wilbur with his tickets and I groaned, "Tubbo, that's no fair."

Tubbo shrugged, "Sorry man- but we can still win. We have 6 minutes. Let's hit the jackpots then sprint to the prize place."

I nodded and we hurried over to the jackpots. We did the same strat as before and actually got quite a few tickets. Finally, we had 2 minutes left. We gathered our tickets then hurried to the prizes counter.

There we saw Jack and Phil waiting. We had arrived second. We checked the time and waited for Tommy and Wilbur to show, but we didn't see them. They had half a minute till they were disqualified.

I was getting a little worried....

"This is for dramatic affect!" I heard my soulmate yell. I looked over and saw him running in slow motion as Wilbur just walked over embarrassed.

We all laughed while Will looked completely unamused and Phil shook his head trying not to laugh.

"Ten seconds Tommy." Tubbo said laughing.

He sped his slow motions up a bit and I laughed, "Okay Tommy we get it. Now c'mere before you're disqualified."

He laughed then ran at me. I opened my arms and he ducked under my arms and tackled Wilbur, "We're gonna win, bitch!"

Wilbur rolled his eyes then looked over at me with a smug expression. I put my arms down and blushed embarrassed. Tommy laughed at me and I rolled my eyes.

"Alright, time to count tickets." Tubbo said then began counting ours.

"Will, let me count." Tommy said fighting Wilbur for the tickets.

"No Tommy, you're an idiot- You'll just count wrong." Will said and pulled them away from him.

He scoffed, "I'm a smarter, hotter, bigger, better man than you Wilbur Soot. Now let me count!"

Wilbur was already counting. Tommy whined then started yelling out numbers, "13! 5! 42! 87! 69!" Tommy burst out laughing, "Funny number! 69!"

"Tommy shut up! Now I have to recount!" Jack said upset.

Tommy stuck his tongue out at Jack then yelled, "1,324! 16! 99! 10! 3! 81! 54!"

"Tommy- Please shut up." Tubbo snapped nicely.

I stifled a laugh as he whispered, "55. 21. 60. 378. 94."

"I'm gonna murder you Tommy. I've started over counting- Three fucking times now. Shut. Up!" Wilbur said angrily.

Tommy laughed and whispered, "69."

Wilbur looked up from counting, "Maintain him Ranboo- or I will hurt him."

Tommy turned to face me and laughed, "I cannot be contained Ranboo."

I grabbed his hand and kissed it. He went quiet and blushed brightly. I grabbed his waist, "I missed ya, I wish we had been partners."

He hugged my torso, "I would've liked that- I too missed you Ranboo."

I kissed his head and he buried his head into me. I chuckled, "You think you'll win?"

He shrugged staying quiet I smirked, "Why're you quiet now?- What happened to 'I cannot be contained'?"

He hugged me tighter. I laughed and hugged him tighter too. I sighed, "Let's nap when we get home, I'm exhausted. You?"

"Can....we...ple-..?" He mumbled and that was all I could hear.

"What?" I asked.

He mumbled quietly again. I leaned over to his height and whispered, "What was that Toms?"

"Can we cuddle, please?" He whispered.

I blushed and kissed his cheek, "Obviously we're gonna cuddle."

"Thank god. I'm done counting." Tubbo said.

"Yeah, same." Jack glared at Tommy.

Tommy let go of me and asked Will, "You done counting?"

Wilbur ignored him for a few seconds then nodded, "Done now."

"Okay, let's each say our number one by one, then whoever wins gets all the tickets." Tubbo said then added, "Jack and Phil?"

"980 tickets." Phil said.

Tubbo was next, "1,005 tickets."

Wilbur smirked and whispered to Tommy. Then Tommy shrieked and smiled, "1,035 tickets."

I scoffed and glared at Tommy. He winked at me and I handed over our tickets. Jack and Phil handed them over, then Tommy and Wilbur went to the prize counter and got a bunch of useless prizes.

The rest of us went outside and waited for them. I was kinda upset because Tommy had stolen 50 tickets from me while playing the basketball game. I obviously wasn't gonna say anything though. Still....I knew Tubbo and I had won.

"We won that Tubbo." I said.

He sighed, "Wish we did."

"No, we did. Tommy he-..." I groaned.

Tubbo seemed confused, "Okay....."

I sighed, "Nevermind."

Will and Tommy came out and Tommy ran over to me. He grabbed my hand and put a green light up finger ring onto my middle finger, "Aren't these cool Ran?"

I moved the slide switch and it lit up. I chuckled, "Yeah that's pretty cool."

He smirked, "I've got twenty of them!"

I raised my eyebrows, "Wh- Why?"

"I have ten fingers and you have ten fingers!" He exclaimed, "We'll put them on in the car!"

I smiled at his enthusiasm, "Uh- Okay."

He grabbed my hand and walked with me to the car, "So Ran, about our nap. I was thinking King, we should watch a scary movie and have like- popcorn and a bunch of candy- And Coke too!"

I grabbed his chin and kissed his nose, "Anything for you."

He blushed, "Chill out bro- I'm straight and we're platonic soulmates."

I rolled my eyes and he giggled. I checked behind us and everyone was following. Tommy rambled on about the candy we should have and I just listened to the sound of his voice as he talked.
