We're eating dinner now. Rage's parents always work late, as he tells me, and they don't come home until at least 11 pm. I know already, of course, I didn't hear anyone else in the house. Not even the servants. He told me they're sent home at 8 pm. So it's just us in a big mansion, having dinner.
After the kiss, Rage just acted like it never happened, although I could see he looked a bit dazed, but he tried to hide it.
I spoon nouilles au fromage (or in plain terms, mac and cheese) into my mouth. It's a bit weird. Rage chose a patio table out on the third floor balcony, and the view is even more phenomenal from here. It's not that cold outside, to be honest, even if it is the middle of February. There's no wind, and the estate is isolated from the city and built on top of a hill. I'm sitting on one side and Rage is sitting opposite to me, and he's not eating anything so he has no other option but to stare at me. It's disconcerting, and I feel like I'm being watched. But this time, he doesn't seem to get the message or read my mind. Timing, bro, timing.
"Stop watching me, dude," I mutter through big mouthfuls of mac and cheese. "It's creepy."
I think Rage must have been spacing out, because his eyes widen. "Oh, yeah, um sorry."
He looks away from me, and at the skyline. There's not much light out on the balcony except for a few dim recessed bulbs. And after that he doesn't say a single thing. He just sits there, lost in thought.
When I finish eating, he still doesn't realise I'm done.
"Wake up, dreamer," I say, hitting my fork on my bowl. What is he thinking about???
He jerks awake. "Oh, yeah. Um, what's up?"
I frown and get up off my chair. "I'm going home now."
At this, he kind of smirks. "You'll get lost."
"No I won't."
He rolls his eyes and stands up. "Fine, go."
I'm walking away when Rage grabs my wrist and pulls me to him. Damn, he's strong, that's for sure.
"What?" I ask, irritated.
"You're not gonna kiss me before you go?" he says in a mock-sad voice, pinning me to the wall.
I look away. "Unless you want me to."
"I do want you to," he says and leans in. I close my eyes and kiss him back. Then I break away.
He blinks, dazed once again. I poke his forehead.
"Bye bye," I say and run down the hallway before he can say anything.
Well, I do end up getting lost.

I find her in my sister's old room. I bet she got lost, as I thought, but she seems to be distracted from getting home. That's because she's found Angie's big-ass closet.
"Whoaaaaaaaa," she's saying quietly, looking through all Angie's clothes. I personally thought Angie preferred Gucci way too much. Whatever's in there, I don't really like it.
"Whatcha doing in here, Cat?"
