I'm in love with my stepbrother

Darkness is all I ever knew

"You guys are socking wet!" my mom said as both me and Luke stood in the hallway with water dripping down. 
"Come´n, get up and get changed. The cake is almost done, Luke" she smiled as Luke nodded faking a smile. 

"You ok?" I looked over at Luke as he grabbed a new hoodie from his closet. 
"Yeah, I just had a weak moment that´s all" he said as he wouldn´t look at me. I knew he lied. 
"Luke, we both know that wasn´t a weak moment... You miss them, just admit it" I laid my hand on his shoulder as he quickly moved it away annoyed. 
"I admit it, I miss them! But I can´t do a fuckin thing about it, so let´s drop it ok?!" he snapped as I walked backwards scared of Luke´s angry face. 
Luke looked over at me as he realised he had scared me as I ran out of his room with a terrified look in my eyes. 
"Taylor I didn´t mean...." is the last thing I heard as I ran into my own room on the side with tears going down my chin. 

Our relationship haven´t been the same since I got out of hospital, it´s just been fighting and I haven´t had any time left for him. And now we´re fighting on his birthday. I can´t believe a love this strong, can turn into something so breathtaking.  
I wish Luke the best, and more and more I think that the best is without me. That there shouldn´t be any of me in with that. He should find another girl who can treat him right and that makes time for him. He deserves the best, something I´m not anymore.

"Tayls, hello?" I heard a knock on my door as I quickly wipped away my tears as I slipped my little box under my bed as the doors went open. 
"We´re going to give our present now, wanna come down? Cake afterwards" my brother Chris smiled to me. 
"Well Christopher, I wouldn´t mind some cake" I smiled as he laughed at my sentence. 
"God, I hate that name. I´d take eveything but that name" he said as his name is Christopher, but the most just call him Chris. 
"Is that Luke´s gift from you?" he smiled as he pointed at the box underneath my bed. 
"No" I froz as he could see I lied. 
"Levi, you bought him sex toys or what?" Chris smiled as I slapped his hand. 
"OhGod no! Mom would kill me you pervert! Now, let´s get some cake or what?" I smiled as we both walked downstairs.

So dark, it was all so dark as we went downstairs. Nobody in sight as Chris went to turn the lights on, but I wouldn´t work. 
"Hello? Dad? Mum?" I yelled as nothing happend, just darkness. 
"Chris, what´s happening?" I whispered as turned around to Chris, but all I could see was black. 
"Chris?!" I yelled as nobody answered. 
"If this is a sick game you are trying out, it´s not nice" I whispered to myself as I felt a tear go down my chin. I hated the dark after everything that happend, I couldn´t even sleep without my lights on. 
"Leviana Taylor" I heard a whisper as I turned around to just be hit in the head.

Then it all went dark.
