After the Meeting, Chantel couldn't help but stare at Mikey with wide eyes. She wasn't exactly sure what Mikey was going to do at the meeting, but she knew she was being introduced as a new Executive. After Mikey dismissed the men, including Sanzu, Chantel found herself standing there—bathed in tense air. Why did Mikey give her so much power to make such a important decision right on the spot? Chantel had felt the way the air tensed at Mikey's sudden question. Everyone asking the same question she had in mind. At the very least, Chantel was expecting that Mikey would hand her a position.
" Why bruh?" Was all she could ask him as he opened the food container again.
Mikey shrugged his shoulders. " Why not?"
Chantel scoffed, flipping her hair over her shoulders as she walked to sit beside Mikey.
" Why not?" She repeated. " It's hella awkward now. I literally have the power to just snatch these niggas spots."
