Chaeyoung had thought this out in detail. Miao Hong was very much in awe of Chaeyoung's ability to categorize everything in her world so clearly.

"Speaking of the Kim Family, I've heard that..." Miao Hong decided not to hide it anymore when she noticed that Chaeyoung mentioned the Kim Family on her own.

"What do you want to tell me?" Chaeyoung's thoughts were cut off then. To be honest, she had never forgotten Jisoo. A lump would always form in her throat when the word "Kim" was mentioned.

"Did you know that Kim Jisoo is in Luo Hai?"

Miao Hong sighed when she saw that Chaeyoung's expression was changed drastically at once. "Silly girl, why must you torture yourself when you haven't given up on him? Now that you have An An, would it make any difference if the both of you raised him together? Why would it matter if you gave birth to him or not?"

Chaeyoung's quivering eyelashes revealed the extremely conflicted feelings in her heart.

The woman remained silent and simply stared at Miao Hong blankly. "Hong, do you think that he'll find me?"

Miao Hong was annoyed when she saw that Chaeyoung looked terribly dejected. "I hope that he sinks his claws into you and presses you against on the bed..."

Miao Hong always acted innocent and pure in front of Chaeyoung, but she actually loved making dirty jokes. Chaeyoung blushed and acted like she wanted to hit Miao Hong when she noticed that the other woman was behaving improperly.

The two women argued for some time. Chaeyoung let out a sigh once they had calmed down.

"It would be impossible for us to... How could we adopt a child together? Do you think that the Kim Family is just an ordinary family? Each of the last three generations only had one son. How could they willingly accept that their bloodline was going to be cut off from now on?"

Her heart was filled with panic. She had no appetite during the next few days.

She would be lying if she said that she was completely unaffected when she saw that man.

She wanted to see him, and it was not something she had known for just a day or two.

Several hundred days and nights had passed, but she thought of Jisoo almost every day.

She thought of Jisoo the most when she looked at Soo-An. That boy looked more and more like Jisoo with each passing day. Chaeyoung could not help but lament to God. She wondered if he was truly playing with her feelings by making her adopt a little boy who looked like that man...
