For a moment, Jennie wondered if she was too naive. Maybe. Lisa had already found out for quite a while?

"Nancy, you're interested in the things that happened in the UK as well?"

He asked lightly, gracefully, nobly, as if he was not moved at all by the revelation of her intention.

That was the face he puts on for anyone else.

Only Jennie had seen Lisa cuddling with Little Ginger Fur
Ball as he tried to feed it cat food...

"That's right, I'm very interested in Brother Lisa's story with Somi!"

Somi could not control her feeling of being wronged, her tears were on the verge of rolling over onto her face.

She did not want the truth to come out at this time, in this manner. However, seeing Jennie's interaction with Lisa, why was this her ending after persevering for so many years?

'Brother Lisa, have you already forgotten about Somi completely?'

Jennie felt Lisa's arm tightened around her!

Somi spoke decisively, "If I tell you that the woman who died three years ago was Nancy, and I am Somi, will you accept that your Somi had been reborn?"

The three people had finally laid out all their cards on the table!

In that moment, Lisa's eyes were filled with galaxies, deep and expansive. His expression was calm to the point of being blank. For a split second, Jennie did not know what would cause his emotion to flicker!

"If Somi is still alive, I'll be happy! I trust that grandmother will feel the same!"

It was too calm. Whether he knew the stories behind or not, that reaction was too heartless, too frigid.

"Lisa, you've been poisoned by this woman, you even forgot your promise to me!"

Somi's lips quivered, her tears sliding off her face uncontrollably. Jennie was startled. 'His promise to her? What promise could that be?'

Lisa was still behaving coolly, his words were slowed to an extreme. "Somi, I promised to take care of you for a lifetime, but I wasn't saying I am willing to be lovers with you. I have treated you like a sister, always, and forever!"

Saying that, he turned to look at Jennie, his cold demeanor layered with a hint of warmth. "There will only be one Mrs Manoban!"

Jennie was surprised at how aloofly Lisa had accepted Nancy's identity change to Somi!

When she had heard his emotional confession, her heart was frantic.

She looked at Lisa's profile and asked with a shaky voice, "You knew, didn't you?"

Hearing her question, Lisa sighed at his woman's adorable silliness!

"It doesn't matter if I knew. You, however, spent. so much effort to reach this conclusion, you even went to City C to find out. And after you did, you tried so hard to hide it from me. You're so deeply distrustful about me, shouldn't I have accepted it silently?"

"Did you think that I would pounce at her and hold her in my arms? Did you think that would be a normal reaction for me?"

Jennie was speechless.

Jennie lowered her head and instantly felt that she was being petty...

She did worry about it. If Lisa knew Somi was still alive,
would his love for her be rekindled?

Little Nini had made a mistake common to women-speaking with a forked tongue.

She had intentionally kept her distance from Lisa, but at the same time, she could not help being attracted by him. Sometimes, she had had calculative moments like this.

"If you aren't so..."

"I..."

Hearing Lisa call her out, Jennie had nothing to say about
that.

Somi was extremelt defeated!

She pointed at Jennie, shaking. "Lisa, there was only her
in your heart? Why was her not the one who saved you when you were in danger? If you didn't see that I was humiliated by those people, why are you giving me the cold shoulder?"

As she was saying that, Somi started crying out of agitation.

Jennie was confused by the turn of events. However, in seeing Lisa's frigid face lined with guilt, she understood some things, causing her to shudder.

Lisa released Jennie and reached out to take Somi's shivering hands to comfort her. Nowhere in this move had any sense of romance.

With a piercing look, he said, "Somi, I remembered that you saved me. If I was disgusted by you, why would I have promised to take care of you for life?"

"I... want you... to marry me..." Somi did not relent, her tiny hands tugging at Lisa's larger hands.

"Do you think that I'm... dirty...."
