Grey is furious and almost shouting at the lady standing in front of him while the lady's head is slightly looking at the ground.
Nakatayo sina Peter at Ken sa magkabilang gilid ni Grey. Pitong lalaki naman ang nasa likod ng babae. As what I can see, all of them are ABM students.
“Leche mag-uuwian nalang umeksena pa,” Halie stated, almost losing her temper.
Naunang nakalapit sila Yhana at Halie at parang kinakausap na ang kanilang mga manliligaw.
Si Jaysiree ang kasabay ko ngayon.
“Please stop your stupidity Alexandra!”
Nagpanting ang tainga ko sa narinig. It was his voice. I almost didn’t recognize it.
“I don't like you, I hate your presence and I want you to stop!”
My heart dropped. Those words were not directed to me but why did I feel the pain. Her pain?
Alexandra's shoulders were trembling uncontrollably indicating she’s crying hard as dark rock. Her sobs were audible from where I was standing.
“I won't let you say those words again. I despise you for that. You're disgusting!” Grey growled at the trembling lady.
I didn’t come near to the scene. Hinayaan ko ang sarili na huwag lumapit sakanila. After hearing Grey, I turned my back from the awful scene and started walking away. Fast.
He must be so mad for whatever reason however those rebuttals he threw to Alexandra was too much. I understand that the lady may have had invade his privacy because of her severe attraction to him but that wasn’t rationale to be a monster.
Alexandra is an ultimate stalker of Grey. Napansin ko iyon dahil sa araw-araw na magkasama kami ni Grey, halos nakabuntot ang babae sa'min.
Minsan nasa malayo siya pero pansin parin na tila si Grey parin ang minamatyag niya.
There were times na maglalakas loob si Alexandra at haharapin ang kaniyang hinahangaan at bibigyan ng regalo. Tinatanggap naman ni Grey lahat ng ibinibigay ng babae para irespeto ito at lagi niyang pinaaalalahanan na huwag nang mag-abala sa susunod.
Tingnan ko man sa kahit anong banda, mali ang ginawa ni Grey. Masyadong matigas at maitim ang loob niya para pagsalitaan ng ganoon ang isang taong hinahangaan siya.
Kasalanan ba iyon? Just like love, attraction nor admiration are inevitable.
We surely don't know where Cupids will dart the dangerous arrow and let it go to target somebody’s heart and plant it so deep.
I thought of myself. If a beautiful woman like Alexandra can be humiliated like that just by expressing her admiration to someone, paano pa kaya ang isang tulad ko na miyembro ng bahagharing komunidad?
Masyadong malupit na ang lipunan at tadhana sa amin at alam kong pagdating sa larangan ng pag-ibig si Satanas ang hahagkan sa amin.
Love has no gender ‘raw pero kung tignan kami ng karamihan parang hindi kami tao at walang karapatang maranasan ang pagmamahal.
“Where the hell are you going?” Sumunod si Jaysiree sa akin.
“Calm him down, Jess!” She shouted as I was distant from her.
“Sino?” Nilingon ko si Jaysiree.
Dumaan sa mukha niya ang pagtataka ng makita ang malungkot kong awra. Pero saglit lang iyon dahil nainis ulit ang maganda niyang mukha.
“Si Gabriel! You can calm him down, he listens to you.”
“I don't care, Jaysiree. He's irrational and disgusting. Pitong lalaki ang kasama ni Alexandra hindi na ako kailangan doon.”
She rolled her eyes. “That’s the point kaya pinuntahan ko kayo, magkakasakitan sila at siguradong lugi sina Gabriel. Pitong lalaki ‘yun, tanga ka ba?”
“He deserves that if he got beaten like a punching bag,” I retorted.
Nalukot ang marikit na mukha niya sa sinabi ko.
“At kasalanan mo iyon!”
“What!?” Pagtataka ko.
Walang anu-ano ay kinuha ni Jaysiree ang braso ko at nagsimulang haltakin ako pabalik sa field. Nagpadala ako dahil paniguradong masasaktan ako kapag bigla akong huminto sa higpit ng kapit niya sa'kin.
“He was just mad,” she said while still gripping me.
“Not even valid to be a nasty mouth.” I replied.
“Alexandra called you names, Jess. She was nasty first! Sasabunutan ko na sana kanina buti pinigilan ako ni Gabriel.”
I was totally shocked at the revelations.
“She named you a whore, slut, dirty gay and many more,” tinarayan ako ni Jaysiree para ipaintindi kung saan nanggagaling ang galit niya. “She aggravated Gabriel kaya nakapagsalita ng ganoon ang prince charming mo.”
“Halata naman kasing gusto ka ‘nun,” Jaysiree mumbled something.
Hindi ko narinig masyado ang huling sinabi ni Jaysiree dahil mahina iyon. Dumagdag pa ang ingay sa paligid dahil sa nangyayari.
Sa isang iglap nakita kong nakasalampak sa patag si Grey dahil sa malakas na suntok na dumapo sa mukha niya. Pumutok ang labi niya at kumawala ang pulang likido.
Pinakawalan ni Jaysiree ang braso ko marahil naramdaman niya kung ano ang gusto kong gawin.
I ran towards him and carefully helped him to straighten his back to gain composure and have him sit properly on the ground.
The moment our eyes met, worry sparkled into his eyes. “Jess.”
Unti-unting naglagas ang tao sa field nang dumating ang mga guards ng school para ayusin ang gulo.
Grey's eyes were pinned on mine. I cannot decipher his emotions.
Nahiya ako sa sarili ko ng makita ang ibabang labi ng lalaki na maga at basa ng sariwang dugo.
Jaysiree was right, kasalanan ko ‘to. He got this because he confronted his stalker that bad-mouthed me.
He is a real friend indeed. Undeniable. Who wouldn’t admire this guy, right?
Napag-isipan ko pa siya ng masama when all he did was to defend me. Ako pala ang irrational dahil hindi ko man lang inalam muna ang sanhi ng diskusyon.
“Mga batang ‘to! Halika ka dito at gagamutin natin ang sugat mo,” one of the staffs from our clinic came over to us.
Sinenyasan ko na si Grey at inalalayan ko itong tumayo.
“Ikaw na naman Mr. Gabriel Grey Gil, suki ka sa clinic ah,” the staff said.
Grey smirked and held my hand. He motioned our hands to follow the staff to the clinic. I let my hand to be held by him.
Why did he smirked? Was it because he was able to connect the dots and realized he will be at the clinic again with the same reason? Because of me? Again? I'm a dork.
