CHAPTER 15

Psych's POV

"Our Most Valuable Player, wearing jersey no. 14, the Captain of North High University. Please, give a round of applause to Rid Psych Lerson."

I feel like floating while walking towards the center of the court. Kung saan nagaganap ang awarding at naghihintay ang ibang sport officials to hand me the award and our trophy.

"We are so proud of you, Captain." Rinig kong sigaw nang mga teammates ko na katabi si Coach malapit sa net.

I laugh because I can't contain my happiness anymore. The feeling is overflowing, it seems like a dream. A dream that finally came into reality.

Every late trainings, sprained feet, back and front rolls, and exhausted days. It all paid off. The passion we are working hard for, just paid us off.

"Congratulations." Sabi saakin ni Mr. Yamashita and I accepted his hand for a handshake. He is the Head of the V-league organization.

"Thank you, Sir." Sabay ngiti sakan'ya.

Marami pa ang nakipagkamay saakin at binati ako ng congratulations.

I stepped onto the small platform, wearing my champion shirt and my medal. Also, carrying the pride of the school, our trophy.

I cleared my throat before I say my speech.

"This journey have thought me alot of things." I started and look at the people who are watching me.

"Discipline." Sabi ko and look at coach Aiver na ngayon ay maluha luha na at inaalo na ni Leaves.

"Friendship." As I look at Leaves, July, Cj, and all my teammates. They are beaming in happiness.

"Support." I averted my eyes to my proud parents. Si mommy na umiiyak na at si daddy na pinapatahan na si mommy.

Napangiti ako sa mga nasasaksihan ko.

"And dedication. I offer this victory to our Almighty God, for He gives us strength and courage to win this game. Above all, to my parents, coach, and teammates, this is all ours." Pagtatapos ko at itinaas ang trophy na hawak ko.

Maluha luha akong bumaba ng platform at sinugod ang mga teammates ko na umiiyak na.

We formed a big circle and I put the trophy in the center.

"Lions!"

"Lions!"

Sabay sabay na sigaw namin habang pumaikot ikot sa loob ng court at tumatawa.

Palabas na kami ngayon ng Arena, kasama ko sila mommy and daddy. We have a victory party at our house. Kaya naghiwalay na kami kila Leaves dahil magbibihis pa raw sila bago pumunta sa bahay.

"You make us so proud, baby." Sabi saakin ni mommy at niyakap pa ako. Habang si dad naman, tumatawa dahil kanina pa si mommy na ganyan.

"Thank you, mom, dad. I love you both so much." Sabi ko and hug them both tightly.

"Let's go ho--" Naputol ang sasabihin ko noong may tumikhim sa likod namin.

It's no other than, Line Avery Alejandro.

Nakalimutan kong nandito pa pala s'ya sa Arena. Akala ko kasi, bumalik na ito sa boyfriend n'ya matapos akong pagsabihan kanina. Hindi kasi ito mahagilap ng mata ko kanina noong awarding na.

"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Lerson." She said and nod her head. Nginitian lang din s'ya ng mga magulang ko matapos batiin pabalik.

"I am professor Alejandro, Psych is my student." Dugtong pa n'ya na ikinagulat nila mommy. They knew na walang tumatawag saakin ng Psych dahil ayoko.
