The meeting had only just started that Kristie and Sam weren't agreeing.

To plant the decor: 7-months pregnant Shelina was uncomfortably sitting down on the couch, obviously in some kind of pain, probably due to pregnancy stress ; Alex was standing near her, her arms crossed against her chest, maybe wondering what the hell she was doing here ; Mallory was sleeping in the next room - those past few days have been intense and she really needed some rest.

Christen, on the other hand, was sleepy-sitting next to me: as she insisted on being included into the conversation, I could tell how tensed she is. With her mother's passing, she single-handedly became the face and head of Press Corporation, and she really needed to get over her (almost) whole family's deaths in order to try and come up with a plan to arrange the company's image without getting killed - yes, this situation was very stressful to her, but also to me, because I was afraid I might lose her for real this time.

As she spent the night with Mallory, holding her little sister close because she was afraid their time was counted (I mean, particularly Christen's), she got up early this morning, which explains her presence there. Although it is very much unclear what the status of our relationship currently is, she didn't even hesitate one second before sitting down next to me and grabbing my hand naturally - and even if Kristie and Sam's glares signified that they've seen this gesture, it seemed to natural that it didn't even bother me (but I know my sisters will not miss an opportunity to mess with me once Christen is gone.

So here we are now, with the Mewis sisters arguing shamelessly:

"Krieger should be informed: we cannot do this without the help of the FBI!" Sam exclaims, shaking her head in disbelief.

"Alex and I lead a gang, for God's sake" Kristie immediately responds, while Alex sighs. Obviously, those two weren't exactly on the same page, although they presented an united front in front of us, as the blonde continues: "We don't know this Krieger girl, for all we know she could work undercover to dismantle the Dragons."

"You're imagining things, Kristie!" her sister goes on, without any filter: "not everything is about you! We must ensure Christen and Mallory's safety now, we're not talking about your stupid gang!"

Kristie's eyes turn black.

"Oh yeah?" she exclaims, obviously hurt by Sam's words, "Then maybe you don't need the Dragons' protection from Press Corporation's enemies? Or maybe preggy Shelina doesn't need it, huh? Or is it different 'cause you fancy her?"

Sam's eyes go wide, and she blushes slightly. I can sense Shelina's confusion, as the blonde immediately clear it out:

"Oh, so imagining things that aren't real is your way to prove your point, Kratch? That just denotes of the lack or argument you have right now-"

"Oh yeah? Why don't you-"

"ENOUGH!"

That made everybody jump in surprise, as every eye in the room turn toward me.

My eyes were cold and angry, and I know nobody from this room had ever seen me like this - which is probably the reason why both Kristie and Sam stop immediately, staring at me with utter shock.

Setting my jaw, I don't spare my words:

"Christen's life is at sake, yet all you two manage to do is talk garbage and thinking only of yourselves! You both very well know what she means to me, how much I care about her: if you really were my sisters, you wouldn't be fighting right know and rather would support me and support her. I mean, I've never had sisters before, and I thought everything was about having each other's back no matter what, not fighting when everything is falling apart. So, please pull yourselves back together, and stop arguing for God's sake!"

Everybody have their eyes wide open, but Christen: hers are so soft and loving that I avoid staring at them because I'd get lost in them.

Both Sam and Kristie realise their mistakes and look at each other, nodding their head.

"You're right" Kristie concedes.

"Sorry, Abs: we're here for you and Christen" Sam adds, before throwing an apologising look at Kristie.

Shelina sighs.

"Good" she lets out, rolling her eyes, "now that the sister drama is over, can we talk about what the hell we are about to do now? Because I am kind of scared."

Alex nods her head.

"I agree with baby mama: we should really get on the same page and find an action plan" she adds, as Shelina winks at her - since when those two became friends?

Obviously, Sam didn't like this intervention, but she doesn't say anything.

Rather, Kristie says:

"For starters, I really don't think it is wise to include Shelina in our plans: I mean, in two months you will deliver your baby, and she will need a healthy mom. Why don't you take a step back and maybe manage our operations from your cozy office so that we know for sure that you don't get hurt?"

As she receives a subtle grateful look from Sam, Kristie turns toward Shelina, who seems quite touched by the attention.

Nodding her head, the Canadian concedes:

"Sam and I can still do the computer work for you guys, especially if Agent Krieger offers us her help, including FBI computer and systems accesses - that way, we can find out anything you'd like"

"Krieger should be included, then, right?" Sam proudly asks, smirking.

"I still don't think it's a good idea she gets included, but as far as I am concerned, if she doesn't mess with the Dragons, then it is your choice if you want to work with her" Kristie calmly says.

"It is settled then" Shelina lets out, smiling at Sam, who blushes.

After a moment, everybody agrees: Shelina and Sam are going to work with Krieger in order to gather as much information as they could on Press Corporation, its associates and, unfortunately, enemies - with both FBI and Press Corporation resources, this work could take two weeks tops. Then, on their side, Kristie and Alex are going to inform the Dragons what the situation is and ask them where their loyalty ends.

As I go back into my room in order to get my things together before leaving with my sisters, I hear the door close behind me. When I turn around, I immediately find myself face to face with Christen, our lips only inches away. I immediately lost my means, my eyes falling on her lips. In the meantime, she is just smiling softly.

As her smell hypnotisiez me, she whispers:

"I care about you too, Abigail."

With that said, she captures my face between her soft hands, before kissing my lips with insistance and sensuality.

I can't lose her.
