3.14 Lie became the truth

Y/n: He stood away for so long, how could he last any longer?

Jeno: he wants to forget you now because of that

Y/n: he said it in the café that he knows I love him and won't give me to anyone

Jeno: Y/n, I know what you are thinking but that phone call was useless

Y/n: Maybe it's for the better Jeno, that we both start forgetting

Jeno: have you lost your mind? All this time the two of you were fighting for each other

Y/n: we wasted our time on nothing-

Jeno: you two, I want to beat you guys up. Stop thinking like that, you two are meant to be

Y/n: then why won't fate bring us back together without harm?

Jeno: no war ends without harm, no soldier comes back home without scars. You two keep on fighting until you come back home, to each other

Y/n: Jeno, what am I supposed to do? It doesn’t feel like it will ever end

Jeno: if you aren’t feeling okay, then it's not the end. So hold on, if you don’t want to do it for Jaemin because he held onto it for so long. Over two whole years he’s been holding on, now it's your turn. I have to go now Y/n, see you later *hangs up*

*Woojin comes home*

Woojin: I am back home *takes off his shoes*

Y/n: have you eaten? I will plate some food, or what I made

Woojin: did you talk to Jaemin?

Y/n: Jeno called and asked why I lied to Jaemin *plates the food*

Woojin: Jaemin didn’t look happy hearing the truth from me

Y/n: the whole thing was a lie just to protect him-

Woojin: the whole thing isn’t a lie, I didn’t lie about my feelings towards you *sits down*

Y/n: Asshole! It's not the time to pull a joke on me, okay!

Woojin: Y/n, I am not joking *takes her hand* I do like you

Y/n: *takes her hand back* Woojin, I think you know my feelings very well

Woojin: haven’t they changed? Don’t you like me the slightest?

Y/n: *grabs her phone* I do see you as an older brother, I like you as a friend

Woojin: I shouldn’t have confessed, but I stayed with my feelings locked inside for too long

Y/n: I am sorry Woojin *runs out*
Woojin: there she goes again, running away *sighs*

Y/n’s point of view-
Hearing Woojin say he likes me made me freeze up like someone was pointing a gun at me. it was not scary, I just didn’t see it coming.

I should have seen it coming when he took me under his wing from the very beginning, but we were friends forever, how did it turn this way? Why do I feel like trash for running out of the house when I have nowhere to go?

Woojin should stay alone rather than staying with me. I will cause him problems and drama that he won't deal with and shouldn't have to deal with. There is only one place I can stay, it’s at my parent's house.

I will say they won and try to fake that I gave up. For the moment it’s better to lie than telling the truth to hurt someone.
