Back in the Tower, Bruce, Clint and Freya gathered in the lab around the body Ultron tried to upload himself in. On the whole way, Freya tried searching for Nat through reading her mind, but she was too far away. The only thing Freya could hear was a silent buzzing and the feeling that she was still out there. She was still alive.

When Tony entered the lab, Freya turned around to him. "Do you have anything on Nat?", she asked.

"I haven't heard", he answered. "But she's alive or Ultron would be rubbing our faces with it."

"I know", Freya murmured too silent for Tony to hear.

"This is sealed tight", Clint said from where he was standing in front of the body in the coffin, pointing to it.

"We're gonna need to access the program, break it down from within", Bruce said.

Freya turned to Clint. "Is there any chance Natasha might leave you a message outside the internet? You know, through this old-school spy stuff?"

"There are some nets I can cast", he answered and made his way downstairs, murmuring: "Yeah, I'll find her."

"I can work on tissue degeneration if you could fry whatever operational system Cho implanted", Bruce said to Tony.

Tony scratched his head. "Yeah, about that."

Bruce looked at him and Freya slowly realized what Tony wanted to do. "Oh my god", she whispered and Bruce said: "No."

"You have to trust me."

"Kind of don't", Bruce answered.

"Our ally, the guy protecting the military's nuclear codes..." Tony flicked with his phone and yellow energy appeared in the middle of the room. "I found him", Tony added.

"Hello, Dr Banner", JARVIS said. "Hello, Ms Maximoff."

"Ultron didn't go after Jarvis because he was angry", Tony went on. "He attacked him because he was scared of what he can do. So Jarvis went underground. Scattered, dumped his memory. But not his protocols. He didn't even know he was in there until I pieced him together."

Bruce scoffed while Freya just watched, not knowing if she should say or do something.

Bruce looked up at Tony. "So, you want me to help you put Jarvis in this thing?", he asked.

"No!", Tony said. "Of course not. I wanna help you put Jarvis in this thing."

Bruce shook his head in disbelief and Tony grinned. "We're out of my field, here. You know bio-organics better than anyone."

"And you just assume", Bruce said, "that Jarvis's operational matrix can beat Ultron's?"

"Jarvis has been beating him from inside without knowing it. This is the opportunity. We can create Ultron's perfect self without the homicidal glitches that he thinks are his winning personality. We have to."

"I believe it's worth a go", JARVIS said and Tony looked at him with a thankful look.

"I'm in a loop!", Bruce shouted. "I'm caught in a time loop. This is exactly where it all went wrong."

"I know. I know."

"I think we all know what everyone's gonna say", Freya said, feeling she should also say something again.

Tony looked at her. "They are already saying it." He turned back to Bruce. "We are mad scientists."

Freya scoffed. "You don't say."

Bruce shook his head and Tony said: "It's not a loop. It's the end of the line."

Freya stood up and sighed. "I'll leave you two alone now. I can't help anyways." No one answered, so Freya simply went downstairs.
