Henry watched as Susannah spooned some soup into her mouth. Once she swallowed, she sighed loudly.
He pulled her onto his lap and she hugged him tightly. He rubbed her back and muttered words of comfort.
Everyone seemed down in the safehouse, grieving for their lost friend.
"I miss him so much," she whispered.
"I know..." he rested his head on hers.
"I love you, Henry," Susannah clung onto his shirt. "Please, never leave me."
"Of course I won't," he replied. "I-I love you too."
And he realised he did.
