AUTHOR POV

TWO DAYS LATER

Y/N made her way to Jungkook's office during the lunch break. Ever since their first kiss, she had been feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness about their growing connection.

Today, Jungkook had extended a warm invitation for lunch again, and Y/N couldn't help but feel her heart flutter at the thought of spending more time with him.

She knocked lightly on the door before entering, finding Jungkook engrossed in his work. His eyes lit up as he saw her, and he quickly set aside his paperwork. "Y/n, I've been waiting for you," he said with a smile.

Y/N smiled, feeling a wave of warmth wash over her at Jungkook's enthusiasm. "I've cooked some of your favorite dishes today," she said and began to plate down the dishes.

As they settled down, their conversation flowed effortlessly, a comfortable familiarity building between them. They talked about their day, shared funny anecdotes, and discussed their plans for the upcoming weekend.

Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of ease and contentment in Jungkook's presence as if they were slowly becoming more than just arranged partners.

In the midst of their laughter and lighthearted banter, Y/N couldn't help but steal glances at Jungkook. She admired the way his eyes crinkled when he laughed, the way his smile reached his eyes, and the way his presence made her feel at home. It was becoming increasingly clear to her that her feelings for him were growing deeper with each passing day.

Jungkook, who felt no less than his wife, found himself captivated by Y/N's presence. He admired her genuine smile, her kind-hearted nature, and the way she made him feel understood and cared for. He couldn't deny the growing connection between them, and he found himself wanting to explore it further.

As they sat together, enjoying their lunch and engaging in lively conversation, Jungkook couldn't help but notice a small food stain near Y/N's lips. His gaze flickered to the spot, and he momentarily paused mid-sentence, his focus shifting.

"Y/N," Jungkook said softly, his voice was steady and his gaze lingered on her lips, "You have a little something right here." He pointed towards the food stain, his sight holding on her lips.

Y/N"s forehead creased and followed his gesture as she attempted to wipe away the stain with her napkin. However, no matter how hard she tried, the stubborn mark remained.

Noticing Y/N's struggle, Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. Without thinking, he leaned in slightly, his thumb gently brushing against her lips to wipe away the lingering stain.

The touch was gentle and intimate, their faces mere inches apart, and a jolt of electricity seemed to pass between them.

Y/N's breath hitched at the unexpected closeness, her eyes meeting Jungkook's as a mixture of surprise and anticipation filled the air. Time seemed to stand still for a brief moment, their connection intensifying with each passing second.

As their eyes locked, Y/N could feel the weight of the unspoken tension between them. The air crackled with anticipation, and their breaths mingled in the small space that separated them. In that moment, it felt as if the world had faded away, leaving only the two of them.

Driven by an unspoken desire, Y/N and Jungkook leaned in closer, their foreheads gently touching. The warmth of their proximity sent shivers down their spines, their hearts beating in sync. It was a delicate dance of longing and restraint, neither of them daring to make the first move.

But as the seconds ticked by, the tension became too much for Jungkook to bear. His eyes flickered with a mixture of hesitation and longing, his hand gently cupping Y/N's cheek as he leaned in, capturing her lips with his own.
