AUTHOR POV

Jungkook focused intently on checking the car's condition, ensuring it had enough gas for their upcoming journey, he was momentarily oblivious to Y/n's approach. However, a subtle shift in the atmosphere alerted him to her presence.

Looking up, he met his wife's radiant smile, instantly captivated by her warmth. It was clear that she had something to share with him.

A gentle breeze brushed against Y/n's cheeks as she stood before Jungkook, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. She took a deep breath, gathered her courage, and finally spoke up.

"Jungkook," she began, her voice filled with a mixture of excitement and hope, "I was wondering if you would be willing to take us to the beach."

Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise, his focus shifting from the car to Y/n. He studied her face, taking in her genuine enthusiasm and the longing in her eyes.

A smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he realized how much he wanted to fulfill her request.

"The beach?" he repeated a playful glimmer in his eyes. "That sounds like a nice idea, y/n. We can go there."

Y/n's heart swelled with joy, a wide smile forming on her lips. She had hoped he would be open to the idea, and his enthusiastic response only deepened her excitement. It was as if their desires aligned perfectly in that moment.

After a few minutes on the drive, Y/n and Jungkook couldn't contain their excitement as they stepped onto the sandy beach. The warm sun kissed their skin, and the sound of crashing waves filled the air. They wasted no time in immersing themselves in the playful atmosphere, ready to create cherished memories together.

With laughter bubbling from their lips, they kicked off their shoes and ran towards the water, feeling the cool waves lap at their ankles. Y/n couldn't help but giggle as Jungkook playfully splashed her.

Her face lit up with surprise as Jungkook playfully splashed water on her again. The droplets cascaded over her, leaving a shimmering trail on her skin. Her eyes widened, and a delightful gasp escaped her lips, mingling with the sounds of the crashing waves.

At first, she blinked in astonishment, her wet hair clinging to her cheeks. But then, a mischievous smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Determined not to be outdone, she quickly retaliated, scooping up a handful of water and unleashing it towards Jungkook with a playful giggle.

Their impromptu water fight had begun, filled with laughter and joy. Y/n's playful spirit soared as she splashed and dodged, her laughter ringing out like music in the air. Each splash brought an exhilarating rush, a carefree moment of pure bliss.

As they continued their playful exchange, their connection deepened. Y/n felt a sense of freedom and lightheartedness as if the weight of the world had momentarily lifted. She relished in the sheer joy of being in the moment, completely immersed in the playful energy shared between her and Jungkook.

With each splash, Y/n's laughter grew louder, echoing across the beach. Her eyes sparkled with mischief, her cheeks flushed with excitement. She reveled in the refreshing sensation of the water against her skin, feeling alive and carefree in Jungkook's presence.

Jungkook watched in awe as Y/n played in the water, her laughter filling the air. It was the first time he had seen her so carefree and joyous, and it captivated him completely.

Her eyes sparkled with happiness, and her smile was contagious. He couldn't help but be drawn to her infectious energy as she splashed and played, completely immersed in the moment. The way she let go of any worries and embraced the simple pleasure of being in the water amazed him.

Jungkook couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and admiration as he watched Y/n's playful spirit shine through.

He saw a side of her that he hadn't seen before or he couldn't remember the day she was this joyous during their childhood, and it made him appreciate her even more. Her carefree nature was like a breath of fresh air, and it resonated deeply within him.

Y/n and Jungkook found a spot to sit together after their playful time in the water. They were still a bit wet, but it didn't bother them. As the sun began to set, they enjoyed the peacefulness of the moment.

They sat side by side, looking out at the horizon. The colors of the sunset painted a beautiful picture in the sky, casting a warm glow on their faces.

"The sunset is so beautiful, isn't it and I had a lot of fun with you?"

Jungkook smiled at her words and nodded as his eyes stayed on the shimmering waves. "Yeah, it was amazing. I haven't had this much fun in a long time."

"Really? Why is that?" Y/n couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and admiration towards Jungkook. She had always known him to be an adventurous spirit, exploring new places and having envy-worthy stories to share but at the moment he posed humble.

Jungkook took a moment to gather his thoughts, his gaze fixed on the setting sun. "Well, it's true that I've had my fair share of exciting adventures," he began. "Well, in my past relationship, we used to do things like this too. But with years I lost all the joy within me."

Y/n nodded, trying to empathize with his words. She understood the importance of having a deeper connection with someone, especially when sharing special moments. She didn't feel hurt but rather tried to look into his hearty feelings.

"That must have been tough," she replied, her voice filled with compassion. "It's important to have that deeper connection, where you can truly be yourself and share your thoughts and feelings." Her words were spoken in remembrance of her father and the bond they shared when he was alive.

Jungkook's eyes met hers, a grateful smile forming on his lips. "Exactly," he said. "That's why being with you feels so different. It's not just about the places we go or the things we do, but the genuine connection we have. I feel like I can truly be myself and share my thoughts and feelings with you."

Y/n's heart warmed at his words. She was glad that she could provide him with the comfort and understanding he had been missing, in a way she was having her time of healing too. "I'm really glad to hear that," she responded, sincerity lacing her voice.

Jungkook's expression softened, his eyes filled with gratitude. "Spending moments like this, enjoying the sunset and having these conversations, makes me appreciate the simple joys of life even more."

A genuine smile graced Y/n's face. "I feel the same way," she said, her voice filled with warmth.

Y/n and Jungkook engaged in small talk, their voices soft and relaxed.

They chatted about random things, sharing funny stories and laughing together. Y/n recounted their playful moments in the water, and Jungkook listened attentively, a smile on his face. They enjoyed each other's company, finding comfort in the easy flow of conversation.

As the sun dipped lower, the sky transformed into a breathtaking display of colors. Y/n and Jungkook fell into a comfortable silence, taking in the beauty around them.

They watched as the last rays of sunlight disappeared, leaving behind a starry sky. Y/n and Jungkook sat there, appreciating the simplicity and beauty of being together. They knew that this moment would be cherished in their memories forever.

In the peacefulness of the evening, they felt grateful for the shared experience and the bond they had formed. They knew that these shared experiences were what truly mattered, and they were determined to continue cherishing each moment and building a bond that would last a lifetime.
