Jungkook sat across from Taehyung, frustration etched on his face. He couldn't help but let out a frustrated sigh as he began to vent his concerns.

"Taehyung, I don't understand," he started, his voice tinged with annoyance. "I asked y/n to move in with me, and it's been days since I brought it up. But she hasn't given me any answer. It's like she's avoiding the topic altogether."

Taehyung listened attentively, his brows furrowing in concern. He knew how important this decision was for Jungkook and how eager he was to hear y/n's response.

He couldn't help but wonder why she hadn't communicated her decision yet.

"I've tried bringing it up a few times," Jungkook continued, frustration evident in his voice.

"But every time we meet, she diverts the conversation to something else entirely. It's like she's purposefully avoiding the topic, and it's driving me crazy."

Taehyung leaned forward, his expression thoughtful. "Have you considered that maybe she needs more time to think it through?" he suggested gently.

"I understand how important this decision is to you," Taehyung began, his voice calm and thoughtful.

"But we also have to consider that y/n has been actively working on becoming more independent lately. It's possible that she wants to take her time to make this decision, not wanting to rely solely on you."

Jungkook sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I understand that, Tae," he replied, his voice filled with a mix of exasperation and concern.

"But I wish she would at least communicate that to me. It feels like she's keeping me in the dark, and it's making me doubt whether she even wants to take this step with me."

Taehyung nodded, understanding the weight of Jungkook's frustration. "Communication is key, Jungkook," he said, his voice filled with empathy.

"Perhaps it's time to have an open and honest conversation with her about how you're feeling. Let her know that her silence is causing you to doubt and that you need some clarity."

Jungkook took a deep breath, realizing that Taehyung was right. It was time to address the elephant in the room and seek the answers he needed.

"I'll talk to her," he said, determination filling his voice.

DAYCARE APARTMENT

Jungkook stood nervously at the door, his heart pounding as he awaited y/n's response. After days of uncertainty, he had finally mustered the courage to confront the situation head-on.

When the door swung open, revealing Y/n standing there, a mixture of relief and anticipation washed over him.

"Hey, Jungkook," y/n greeted him with a warm smile. "Come on in."

Jungkook stepped inside, his eyes scanning the surroundings. As he looked around, he couldn't help but notice the absence of toys and children's belongings scattered around. It was a stark contrast to what he had seen before.

"Is everything okay?" y/n asked, concern lacing her voice as she noticed Jungkook's gaze lingering on the surroundings. "You seem a bit surprised."

Jungkook's eyes met hers, and he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. "I, uh... I just realized that there aren't any kids here," he admitted, his voice tinged with confusion.

A soft chuckle escaped y/n's lips as she motioned for Jungkook to take a seat. "That's because they're not here," she explained, her voice gentle. "I wanted to talk to you about something."

Curiosity piqued, Jungkook settled into a chair, his attention fully focused on y/n. "What is it?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation.

Taking a deep breath, y/n began to explain. "Over the past few days, I've been thinking on our conversation about moving in together, Taehyung said you are eager to know my choice" she started, her eyes meeting his. "And I've come to a decision."

Jungkook leaned forward, his heart pounding in his chest. "What is it, y/n?" he asked, his voice filled with hope.

A small smile played on y/n's lips as she continued. "I've realized that I'm not quite ready to take that step just yet," she confessed, her voice gentle but firm.

"I've been focusing on my own personal growth, and I want to continue that journey for a little longer before committing to living together."

Jungkook's heart sank slightly, but he understood the importance of y/n's decision. He knew that he had to respect her needs and desires, just as she had respected his. But his gaze locked with y/n's, his heart pounding with anticipation as he heard her continue.

"However," she began, her voice steady yet filled with vulnerability, "if we were to move back, it would come with a condition. I need you to promise me that you won't interject or try to sway my decisions."

Jungkook's brows furrowed in surprise, his mind racing to comprehend Y/n's request. It was a test of his sincerity and respect for her independence, and he knew he had to tread carefully with his response.

Her eyes searched his face, seeking the sincerity of his commitment. She had grown so much in her pursuit of independence, and she needed to know that Jungkook would honor and support her life.

After a moment of contemplation, Jungkook's expression softened, "I hear you, y/n," he finally spoke, his voice filled with sincerity.

"If moving back means granting you the space to follow your own path, without any interference from me, then I make that promise to you."

Y/n's eyes softened, a mixture of relief and gratitude washing over her. She had feared that her request might be met with resistance or misunderstanding. But Jungkook's willingness to respect her desires filled her with a renewed sense of love and trust.

"Thank you, Jungkook," she whispered, her voice filled with appreciation.
