Tracy

I was miserable for the next three days, I hid myself in my room and locked the door. If she wants it that way, she get it that day.

"You better open the door." My grandma screamed from the other side. "I allowed you time, but this is too much. I will ask them to break the door if you don't open this instant."

I ignored her completely. The three days, I was away from the world- no electronic devices except for the TV that is hanging on the wall, untouched and unused. I had no contact with the human world; what so ever and I was feeling miserable and wondered how Carson must be feeling. I wondered if he saw my texts? Was he worried? Is he looking for me? Is he trying to reach me? Is he trying to do something? Anything? I wanted the reassurance, but I know I cannot have that because I will never know the answer to that.

"You have by the end of this day to unlock the door before I order it to be break open, completely and make sure that the lock is removed from your room."

I know, she is plotting something the moment I saw Liam and his family's car from my room's window and saw them coming in, yesterday. She thinks I am naive and will give in. I shouldn't have give in to all those times and now I wished I was strong enough to say No and go against her because now she thinks I am the little girl, who always do what she think is right, but is actually wrong.

I laid on my bed, hugging myself and closed my eyes and wished it was all a dream and wished that I was back in San Francisco and in Carson's arm, he made me feel the safest and I know I can trust him. He have his own issues; but I know I can trust him the same way he trust me and couldn't help but hope that he have enough trust to know that I would never ever leave him like that.

The next morning, there was a huge drama early in the morning, my grandma of course have to show me who is the boss of the home and screamed- very unlikely of her.

"Tracy, you open the door right instant or else, I am ready to break open the door."

I made a plan last night and for that to work, why not be nice for sometime.

"What?" I asked and opened the door, seeing two maids standing very tensed and few guards. "Can't I sleep in?Jeez. What's the problem here?"

"You could have did it in a better way." She said. "Why starving yourself?"

"Since when are you concern about me?" I yawned and looked at her.

She rolled her eyes. "Liam called and said he is coming over for lunch."

"Oh, what a nice surprise." I said, "Already calling people and announcing I am home."

"I am all done with your attitude, missy."

"So am I." I said to her and we both glared at each other.

"Do not embarrass me, later or else." She threatened.

"Or else, what? You know I can call cops on you for doing what you are doing. Holding me against my will."

She glared once again, before turning around. "He is coming over at 11 am, you better dress well and behave."

"I am not playing tea party with you and your favourites. You do whatever you want and you better not pretend that everything is okay because you pretending shows how little you think about others."

"See you at 11." She snapped and walked away with the people, leaving behind two security.

I have no problem with them, they are doing what they were told as it is their job.

"Good morning." I greeted them and I think, they thought I have mood swings .

"Sorry about that." He apologized.

"It's not even your fault, hope you liked the drama."

They winced and give me a guilty look.

"Don't worry about that." I reassured them. "Alright, see you later."

I walked back in and shut the door behind me. My plan is to unexpectedly run away from here, if I act too sweet with my grandma, she will be suspicious of my motives. If I continue to behave with tight emotions, she may think I am still upset and need a little more time. If she can start a game, she might as well be expected of the sudden moves.

There was a knock at 11 am and I hear Liam calling my name. I thought of ignoring, but what did the poor guy do? Apart from being dragged and getting his hopes up about us by my grandma. This is insane.

"Hello." I said and opened the door.

"Wow." He said smiling at me, his silver blonde hair swept back, his grey eyes was smiling and he looked happy and I felt miserable. Grandma, you are hurting him and everyone around you with your little immature game.

I for sure did not dress up the same way as he did in a button up shirt, khakis and shoes. I was dressed in a sweat pant and shirt.

"What a surprise." I pretended I didn't know he was visiting.

"You still look beautiful." He said, and I know he really mean it with the look from his eyes and face. He have such a good heart, I looked like a mess and still he is complimenting me.

"Thanks." I said. "What brings you here?" I asked as I walked further to my room and he followed behind me.

"Your grandma called this morning, said you were back early than expected. I thought you went there to study because I heard you were coming back during study break and then your grandma said, you are actually enrolled in a private institution and went there for some research paper."

I almost told him all was a lie and maybe let my grandma explain to him, which will cause her embarrassment, but I am not that mean.

"Sure." I said. "I will be going back there soon."

"Really?" He asked clearly surprised. "Your grandma said that your research is done and you are back for good, she said you hated that place."

"No, I loved it and I am planning to move there." I said.

"Oh." He said.

"Yes, the place is nice, people are nice. I made friends there."

"It must have been difficult to leave since you made friends there."

I wanted to laugh at his words, if only he knew what happened.

"You came here alone?" I asked.

"Yes, my parents went to Europe, for business trip." He said. "I couldn't pass the chance of meeting you when your grandma called, yesterday to ask if I would like to meet you."

"What is your plan for today?" I asked.

"Lunch with you and your grandma and at two, I have some businesses to attend and then I am free in the evening."

"Cool." I said.

"You don't seem happy to see me here today." He asked, hesitantly and I felt miserable hearing that.

"It's not that." I said. "I just have a lot in my mind lately, but I really appreciated you could make time to come and see me, Li. Thank you." I said.

"Anything for you." He said, smiling at me and I couldn't help, but return the smile.

I really wish Carson was here to make me feel better. I feel bad for Liam and hope one day someone will love him the same way he will love them.He deserve so much better than this.
