"How could you do this to me." You whispered, trapped inside the glass wall of the cell. Betrayal and sadness rolled off your tongue like nectar. "After everything we've been through. I have hel—"

"Shut up." Clint said quietly, making an attempt to stop your rambling. You ignored it.

"—ped you in more ways than you can imagine. I didn't have a choice! It was ei—"

"SHUT UP." He yelled, smacking the glass with an open hand. You flinched, moving away from the cell wall. Clint leaned his head on the glass temporarily, gathering himself. "Just shut up, Y/N." He repeated, voice barely above a whisper. "You are a villain. You have killed more than you have saved. You have made ME look unfaithful because I trained a KILLER. How do you think I feel?" He hissed, "How could I do this to YOU? More like how could you do this to ME."

You stared at Clint blankly, watching as the tears pricked his eyes. He wiped them with his gloved hand hastily, not wanting to cry. It was stupid. You were traitorous. Evil. Bad blooded. He had trained a girl who turned into a villain.

"Yo-you don't understand." You pleaded, scrambling to your feet. You held a hand to where his once was. "I didn't have a choice. Either I stayed with them, doing things that give me continuous and repetitive nightmares; or they kill everyone I've loved. That includes both you and Nat. I didn't have a choice, Clint. I didn't." By the end of that, you were crying too.

"N-no." Clint stuttered, shaking his head, "no no no." He turned around so you couldn't look at his face. It was a lie, wasn't it? A continuous lie that you kept up to cover your own ass. It wasn't true, was it? She did it at her own will, not to keep everyone safe, yeah? Clint was at a loss. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what to believe anymore. He left the room, tears staining his shirt.
