Anyways.

The reason I said that was a make or break chapter is because if you read BDSM stories or love stories or even thriller stories.
To me to its the same.
It's very rare that I personally enjoy a book.

Two people fall in love...maybe even have a forbidden love.
Something happens. Some secrets come out . They break up . Then they come back together. Get married and have a happily ever after.

The title Possession does NOT mean sexual possession. It means being possessed by your past. Controlled by it.
It's inside of you all the time.

In this book. I made my story different from others because I did something I haven seen any other author do.

I put their love to the ultimate test.
1. Letting Elliot actually physically hurt Rayleen.

Most females would have pulled a Chris Brown and Rihanna move and been like 'No going back to someone who hurt you is stupid. They don't really love you'

2. Both of them being molested as kids and not being able to forgive who did that to them.

They were beginning too

3. Finding out you were adopted.
Abandonment issues. Also a reason why Rayleen CANNOT let go of anything because she's too used to it

4. Being bulimic is self explanatory

5. Having everyone around you betray you.
Also goes along with abandonment issues.
And trust issues.

6. Having to put your life down for someone you really care about .
In reality, people may say 'I would die for you.' Or 'Id take a bullet for you' when personally.
Why would you?
If in that moment.
Would you take a risk for YOUR life. To save someone else's. To save someone else's.
Would you leave behind everything for one person?

And finally 7.
I put death.

We are faced with it every day.
People can die in two ways.
1, Someone can die mentally.

For example Someone can completely be someone you never thought they'd be. And they are cold and dark in reality. Just how Evan was.

2. Physical.

After everything. If someone you loved died. And you told them you would be something . You told your grandmother, "I'm going to finish high school,"
Told your father, "I'm going to stop drugs.' Told your mother , "I will stop self harming."

When death is thrown in your face. More than likely you will be tempted to do the complete opposite.

But at the end of the day, whos really going to push themselves to not skip that class.

Whos going to put the needle full of heroin down.



Whos going to put that blade down?

Elliot said he'd come back.
Rayleen said she'd stop.

If you really love someone....you'd keep your promise right?

If you don't...you mentally die.
And become nothing at all.


I was being different with Possession because I put morals.
I gave you emotions. I controlled how you felt.
I made tears come out your eyes.
I made you angry.
I made you laugh.
I made you relate to more than one issue that I just listed.
Possession.

I made you realize that you have not yet forgiven.

And with this I'm also trying other you to realize that IT'S OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT.


This book has some real issues that even I've been through. Some not as extreme.

I bolded the sentences for a reason and I can bet that while you we're reading 1-7 you thought of somebody .

I'm being real.
I'm being raw.

Tell me how explicit is that?

And tell me that I was Wrong in this authors note.
