Clint Barton- Cheat (h)

You sat on the counter in the kitchen whilst your boyfriend made you a drink. As the kettle was boiling, your boyfriend came over to you and stood in-between your legs.

He placed his hands on your thighs and smiled at you "Why am I the one making the drinks?" he asked and you shrugged "Oh I don't know. Maybe because you offered" you said sarcastically and he chuckled "You got me there Baby" he said and you kissed him sweetly.

"I'm going to go and find Tony" you said and he nodded "Alright Baby, do you want me to bring your drink to the lab?" he asked but you shook your head "No, I will come back to the living room" you said and he nodded again.

You and Tony were close, he took you in when your parents died which is how you came to know Clint. Tony was more of a brother to you than anything else but the only person that knew of the reason you were so close to Tony was Clint.

Clint was the person that knew every single thing about you so he never got suspicious when you would randomly go to talk to Tony.

Just as you were about to walk up the stairs to Tony and Bruce's lab someone grabbed your wrist making you turn around. It was Natasha that had grabbed your wrist.

"Yeah?" you asked. You knew Natasha didn't like you, she thought you were cheating on Clint with Tony despite Clint telling her that you wouldn't cheat on him. She thinks that Clint is so in love with you that he just doesn't realise that you are hurting him.

"Where are you going?" she asked as you pulled out of her grip "I was going to talk to Tony. What's it to you?" you asked shrugging "Oh so you can cheat on Clint again" you sighed as you pushed past her and went back to Clint.

It wasn't worth arguing with Natasha just so that you can see Tony. She always has a go at you especially when Clint isn't there but you never tell Clint about him because Natasha is his best friend and you don't want to jeopardise their friendship.

Clint looked at you and smiled "Hey Baby. I thought you were going to see Tony" he said confused "To cheat on you again" Natasha commented walking in and you sighed.

"You are no good for him Y/N. You are going to break his heart, he doesn't deserve you, he deserves better and you know it. There is no point in staying with him, just break up with him and go out with Tony already" Natasha's words made tears well up in your eyes.

You had said to Clint many times before that he would be better off without you, that he could find someone so much better and he deserves better but every time you bring it up he says that he loves you, he wants to be with you and he will never want to be with anyone else.

Clint saw the tears in your eyes and pulled you into his chest "Natasha, will you just back off" Clint said with a harsh tone.

"You are always ripping into my girlfriend, you think I don't know what you say to her when I'm not around. I can tell when she is hurting Natasha, I can tell when she is upset" his tone was getting harsher as he spoke "For the last god damn time, Y/N is not cheating on me and she will never cheat on me" as Clint spoke again his arms tightened around you.

"Do you get that?" Clint asked through gritted teeth "Sure. Don't come crying to me when she breaks your heart" Natasha said and you presumed she left the kitchen.

You pulled away from Clint "Why does she hate me so much?" you asked and Clint frowned at the sadness in your voice "Y/N, you know I love you. I love you more than words can explain. I know you would never cheat on me, I know why you are close with Tony" he said placing his hand on your cheek wiping away a couple of tears.

"It doesn't matter what other people think they know because both of us know the truth. Okay?" he asked and you nodded.

"I love you Y/N" Clint said pulling you into a hug again "I love you too" you mumbled into his chest causing him to chuckle and press a kiss to the top of your head.
