Melody/Jaxon's Home | LA, California 9:12 pm ————————-
"Nigga, y'all foul." Jace mugged his brother and sister in law.
They were currently playing a let's get fucked up game that Melody found and pinterest and made one of her own for them to play.
It was a risky game no doubt but they were more drunk than anything as they sat inside of Jaxon's game room.
"Take 3 shots, nigga. Alcohol to yo left." Jaxon teased his brother, nodding over towards the mini bar they had placed in the room.
"Fuck you." Jace flipped them off as he got up to go take his shots.
They waited until he was done, watching as he walked back over to the couch.
"My turn." Melody smiled, shuffling around in Jaxon's lap as she rolled the dice.
"Chill, ma." Jaxon said in her ear, rubbing the side of her ass as he made her sit still.
She rolled the dice and moved her piece, landing on truth or dare.
"Truth or dare?" Jace asked her since he was the one who just took his turn.
"Truth." Melody sat back, playing with Jaxon's fingers as he rubbed her stomach.
"When my brother upgraded yo ring?" Jace smirked and Melody jaw almost dropped as she forgot they were even mentioning that tonight.
Nobody knew about their engagement except for Momo and all her cousins in Charlotte.
She talked to Momo on the phone every once and a while just not as often as they used to as they were both caught up in their lives.
"Well, damn..." Brisa pursed her lips, looking away but side eyeing her best friend.
"So, you see what had happened was..." Melody trailed off, scratching her scalp as her sew in was starting to itch like hell.
"I proposed to her." Jaxon spat out and Melody jaw dropped along with everyone else as she turned to look at him quickly.
"Nigga, why you just blurt it out so fast?" Melody frowned, grabbing his chin.
"'Cause you was taking too long." Jaxon shrugged, leaning up and pecking her lips 3 times.
"Shit, y'all engaged my nigga? When this happen?" Kayden questioned, pointing between the two.
"Valentines day." Melody responded, glancing down at her ring that she was just now getting used to the size of. It was heavy as hell when she first started wearing it.
"Y'all foul." Di frowned, crossing her arms as she leaned into her husband.
"Tell 'em again, mama. They fake as hell." Jace shook his head, playing with the ends of Di's hair.
