I ran up the steps, tears in my eyes as I ran over to the familiar door.
I knocked and knocked until the door swung open and Brisa was staring at me confused.
"Melody? What's wrong, boo?" She frowned, standing and staring at me.
"I broke up with him, Bri." I broke down and her jaw dropped as she pulled me into a hug while I cried.
"Who was that?" I heard Egypt and I looked up, seeing her with some boho braids half done.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I can come back, you can finish her hair." I paused, trying to move back.
"Nah, Melody. What's wrong?" Egypt asked, coming over as she noticed the tears running down my face.
I've been crying so much lately, this is annoying.
"She broke up with Jaxon." Brisa whispered as she hugged me and I kept crying.
"Oh shit. You okay? How you feeling?" Egypt frowned, hugging me too as she rubbed my back.
"It hurts so bad but I know it's for the best." I cried, shaking my head.
We ended up in Brisa bedroom and I had my head in Bri's lap as they tried to cheer me up.
"I don't wanna see him no more cause I feel like ima go back." I admitted lowly, sniffling. "I love him way too much."
"We gone hold you accountable but in the end, you make the decision, Lolo. Your love for him took over and you just ignored all the bad shit that he was doing to you. I just hope you don't go back because you haven't been yourself lately and I don't wanna see your mental health get any worse." Brisa said.
I wasn't gonna tell them about what happened last week with me hitting my head.
I know Lani suspects something but shit is gonna break loose if anyone finds out and that's nowhere near what I want.
